Speaking as this sites resident horror fan I can confirm that I was into horror movies at that age. It's possible sure but I'd Desmond hasn't seen a movie scarier than gremlins (still a good horror movie BTW despite the PG rating)

This poor boy. He should be riding bikes with friends after school, playing video games, skateboarding and building ramps, experiencing his first crush. He should be in school, eating bagged lunches and finding the occasional note by mom, wondering which table to sit at during lunch and figuring out where he fits while carrying a too heavy backpack.

I saw a video the other day where a preacher gave a speech about how gay rights and gay marriage are unnatural, against nature, sinful, and rife for moral corruption. Then he said "Oh excuse me, I mixed up my notes. I was reading from literature from the 1950s about interracial marriage. I just changed the words "interracial marriage" to "gay marriage" and "people of color" to "gay people"." It was pretty awesome and really showed the bigotry in anti-gay-marriage arguments.

I wish someone would take some NAMBLA propaganda and change "kids having sex with adults" to "kids being trans" or something. I bet it would have an extremely similar effect.

I just went through Desmond’s Wikipedia page and while it’s still as biased and propagandistic as ever, Piggylou or whoever edits it on her behalf, has removed the passage that stated “those who don’t understand queer culture may misconstrue Desmond’s performances as sexual.” Is the pressure getting to them or did a Wikipedia admin deem that paragraph to be too fucking stupid and slanted even for them?

The only concession she made after the Three Dollar Bill controversy was remove the opening bit where Desmond takes off a dress to reveal his Gwen Stefani slut outfit, as if that automatically makes this gross display any more demure or age-appropriate.
