Back in the day it was just 8chan board where a bunch of stuckups would discuss different leftist figures and their writings and would complain about identity politics like trans rights or feminism in more mainstream leftist communities.
Since then many other "anti-identity politics" leftist communities have popped up, like reddit's r/idiotpol or r/chapotraphouse and it's spinoffs to some extent. So I wouldn't be surprised if /leftypol/ which now has it's own bunkerchan imageboard would get more authoritarian as most anti-identity politics radicalised Bernie Bros moved to reddit and twitter maybe.
The person in question is likely just some reddit leftist tho, there's way more tankie leftists there than on imageboards.
