Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

Given how much they also like to go on about christians and trump hating teh gays and troons it's very much the first option imo. They dont think the main GOP base has changed at all since 2005 but now theres also scary Russian superhackers and white supremacist mass murderers under every stone
Trump is actually an outlier in the GOP base for how much he cucks to LGBT interests. Most Republicans are disgusted by them and don't want any of that pushed onto them or their kids as if it were a civil right to display your fetishes openly.

Which is why it's so hilarious watching the left scream about how trans lives are under attack and whatnot. Back in 2015-16 I had a lesbo coworker who was paranoid that trump was going to put people in corrective rape camps.

Y'know, I understand living in near-perpetual anger, I've certainly felt plenty of it the last few weeks. But the way these people make a deliberate choice to live in constant, neverending fear of the absolute worst case, most apocalyptic scenario is just mindboggling.

I can only think it must be partly the result of the fact that leftist ideology encourages you to outsource responsibility for everything, including your own defense. Add that to an essentially Catholic-like cowering in fear of the all-powerful deity you insist is also benevolent and paternal (the Government instead of God) and I can only begin to imagine how fucking exhausting it must be.

The one thing I can't understand is why they're so afraid of things that are so obviously not true. It's pretty legitimate for white conservatives to feel afraid when, after the last few weeks, there are people in power in media calling for us to be sent to concentration camps on social media. But why would lesbians be afraid of that from Trump when not only did he not say that once, but none of his supporters did either?

From my observations, the majority of the people that are like this generally live pretty bleak, meaningless, directionless lives and drawn into hyperbolic politics to break the monotony and feel like they have some kind of place and voice in this world while they get drowned out by the same people and voices that have grown just as histrionic to the point that it's an indecipherable void.

Also add that to the fact that the majority of these people tend to hang out with people who are just as depressed and miserable as they are and that naturally results in incestuous hugboxes that quickly turns into a Crabs In A Bucket environment where no one can speak out against the consensus least they face the consequences they usually bestow on their enemies, whether real or, more often than not, imagined

Trump can honestly say he does not care what anyone does with their lives (within the law, of course), but people will still compare him to Kim.

Honestly, I'm stumped on the lunacy as well. How does an old guy with a toupee stapled to head, who also has a love for fast food compare to a fat kid with a dumb haircut who is known for torture via piranha tanks and straight-up ballistic obliteration?

A lot of the people like this that I know (but not all of them) are also pretty well-off. They aren't going to have to work very hard during their lifetime. The house will be left to them, there's some money set aside, and they've only ever worked entry-level jobs but never the type that involve "flipping burgers" or "digging ditches". Usually they work at hippie stores or some nonprofit that their mom's friend owns.

The other group are generally very poor and have no motivation to do much of anything.

And almost all of the above two groups do drugs of some sort. I do see some so-called normal people wedged in there but then again they usually have some kind of severe depression thing going on or are otherwise very vulnerable/gay/trans/you get the idea. The rest are too busy working and trying to start a life to do this dumb shit.

Most Republicans no longer give a shit about what gay people do in their own homes. They're not upset that every gay person in America isn't being sent to mandatory conversion therapy. We just don't care. So, no, Trump isn't actually an outlier and no, we don't think he's cucked to LGBT interests.

Gay politics hasn't been about that since 2000. Times have changed, and if all conservatism does is chase the values of leftism but 10-20 years behind, it's not gonna conserve anything.
I've gotta say it: forcing Botswana and the Ghanaians to support gay rights at gunpoint is not conservative.

That's kind of a non sequitur, but whatevs. You do you.

While there are still a handful of Boomers clinging to their "Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve!" and shuddering at the memories of the insightful documentary Reefer Madness, the more they fade out of prominence the closer the overall conservative base hews towards classical libertarian ideas of "I want gay married couples to be able to defend their pot farms with machine guns."

The only actual bone of contention as far as legality goes is the whole "forcing businesses to bow to the demands of gay customers" which the left uses mercilessly to help reinforce the idea that conservatives are homophobes. Now socially the issue is not with actual gay people but Pride parades and the open degeneracy of both them and the "alt-queer" set who demands that a 40-year-old man who identifies as a thirteen-year-old girl gets to shower with your daughter, but from what I've seen right wingers are perfectly capable of drawing a distinction between them and Myron and Milton who are a nice couple that keep their lawn mowed and their asses in their pants when they're outside.

"Gay politics" may not be about what happens in the privacy of your own home but we've all had it demonstrated to us repeatedly over the last decade and change that a group's visible politics and the individuals that happen to belong to that group aren't the same. The chances of conservatives actually knowing and even being friends with out gay people are much much higher, and over time that makes it easy to shift from "my friend's one of the good ones" to "those guys humping in the middle of the street in rainbow T-shirts are the bad ones".

This is a pathetic attempt at attacking Trump where he is strongest. Nobody really likes Bolton either, other than Neolib/con shitfucks so nobody is going to believe this dumb bullshit. Oh and the democrats seem to be using up all their surprises early on this year, at this rate there won't be anything left for October.

This is a cool turning point tho. We now have Democrats mainstreaming the idea that China is our enemy, just as Trump wanted. So while it is idiotic for them to treat Trump as though he's been weak on China, it's still nice that we now have even Democrats openly talking about how evil China is.

They did it guys. They wrote a thoughtful, well-researched article explaining the various positions on this subject. It's all over, we can go home.

Archived: Why Liberals are wrong about Trump

It's rock-solid. I don't know how we could call them deranged now.
Statement: Nuh-uh, he's as evil as we claim
Justification: REEEEEEEEEEEE
QED.

That scone recipe is shit and can be found lowly ranked on any baking site.

I mean I have a couple guesses for this insanity:
1) They think people who oppose them (in this case Wypipo* having an opinion on the riots) are the actual stereotypical older conservatives, and that by bringing in Bush they can successfully reach this demographic because every older conservative must respect Bush.

2) It's more overton window shit. "SEE! Even the last uber right-wing Hitler thinks (X) so therefore if you dont think (X) you are a radical!" At this point I wouldn't be surprised if they brought out KKK Granddragon Will Quigg to say "ORANGE MAN BAD" just so they can say "Even the KKK isn't as bad as Orange Man!"

3) They are just slinging shit desperately at this point, just trying to get the most voices out saying "ORANGE MAN BAD!". Brace yourself for Spongebob and Flo from Progressive to come out and say "ORANGE MAN BAD!".

*friend who posted this is white, of course

I love these people, if you won't listen to us won't you listen to the guy most of you despise and has been against trump from the beginning, also it looks like W is going to join his dad real soon.

It's like being RED on an attack-defence map in Team Fortress 2. You can never push them back, you can only prevent them from taking the next control point before the time runs out.

If you're lucky you can prevent one of their crazier ideas like free love/polyamory from catching on for a little while (they've been trying that since the 60s, and most people still think it's bullshit).

I think the reason is simpler, their lives are boring and they were raised with stories of great heros slaughtering monsters that they often compare themselves to. What would you rather have, a life were you go in punch a clock, do a job you hate, go home, sleep. Or would you want one where you are an underground freedom fighter whose life is always on the line and every action you take is critical. Sure it makes your life more stressful but it makes mundane things seem exciting and worth living for. Everything becomes exciting going for a walk in the park becomes daring the bigots to attack you in the open, going out to eat becomes a life and death struggle on whether or not your waiter poisoned your food, buying a coke becomes a way to show those bigots you can buy whatever you wish, going to a riot isn't you destroying homes and lives you're fighting evil, hell even watching T.V. is considered an act of rebellion to these people since they are supporting ((("Radical"))) opinions by watching T.V.

It be exhausting but most of these people have horrible lives in jobs they hate, relationships they can hardly keep together and self destructive habits. They have no accomplishments under their belts or things to be truly proud of so they have to fabricate meaning out of their everyday actions.

What afterlife type do you think he will go to? Heaven? Hell? Purgatory? Some "morally neutral" underworld? The blackness of nothing?
Personally, I don't think there is any such thing as an afterlife, and I find the idea of someone being tortured for all eternity to be morally reprehensible regardless, but that aside I'd like to think that if an afterlife/lives existed, that Dubya would at least have somebody successfully explain to him why he was a stupid fucking warmongering jack-off. Seriously, stupid amounts of money just pissed away on a needless war in Iraq, that only helped to strengthen Iran and lead to the formation of ISIS.

Combine the above with his obnoxious pandering to the remnants of the religious right and the PATRIOT Act bullshit and frankly Shrub deserves at least a stern talking to by whatever moral authority you care to name, in my opinion.

At least catholics have clear ways to ask for forgiveness and return to the church. Leftism is more like Calvinism - doesn't matter what you do or say if you're not one of the Elect you're doomed for eternity. With the added twist that you can still be purged from the Elect.
