Juneteenth seems like one of those things that becomes popular on Social Media suddenly and all the phonies pretend they've been into it for years. Like everyone and their mom all of a sudden having fond memories of playing King's Quest and Monkey Island as a kid when Telltale Games got popular, and people having been long time David Harbour fans when Stranger Things got popular.

I finally come back to this thread to articulate my fear about the very real danger of civil war...and the left wing morons pull down a statue of George Washington and set an American flag on fire over it. And proceed to cheer on twitter.

There truly is nothing left to debate. Words fail me. Words fail in general. I dont even believe anymore there is any argument left that can be made. Save for the final argument of kings. Gunfire. It's like watching a train bearing down on a car stuck on the tracks. You desperately want the car to move out of the way. There are so many ways disaster can be averted. The train can stop, the car could move on it's own power, people could show up and push it out of the way. But in your heart you know nothing can be done. The collision is inevitable.

What truly makes me sad is its idealistic and misguided children doing it. Without a care for the consequences, backed by political leaders who should know better but refuse to do better. But if I can cling to some small hope, it's that what is just and right will prevail in the coming struggle.

No matter how much they hate America, they still need it. For their own selfish benefit. Think about it, to them, America is somewhat of a cash cow to them. If they kill the cow, they’ll have nothing.

I feel like the actual imagery of George Washington’s statue being torn down and burnt with an American flag is going to be pretty powerful to anyone who still can be saved from this leftist cult

Right wingers won't do a damned thing against these people outside of the ballot box. Not until supply chains are threatened or mobs begin invading their suburban homes. The sad thing is, I'd much rather have the elite string-pullers and money men behind these thugs found and punished.
