This might work in Blue states, but what about Red states where some of the worst looting is happening? The other side of that coin is republican impotence. People elect republicans because of the perception of them as cultural/political warriors who will actively fight the left, not just because they're the lesser of two evils. Trump and the GOP will need an answer to that criticism.

Of course the problem is more the presence of niggers than what party's in charge, but nobody can ever say that.

First of all, killing Trump would be a major blunder. You can't talk shit about a dead person. It's bad form. Plus, they'll have to name shit after him and memorialize him like Lincoln or Kennedy. Reagan became more popular after an attempt on his life. You don't provide martyrs to their cause. And most people, even liberals, don't want to live in a nation where assassination is seen as a legit political action. Because if Trump is assassinated, the next Democrat President will be in real danger of meeting the same fate.

Second, talking about assassinating a President on a public and popular social media website is beyond retarded. I hope every one of them get reported to the FBI and end up on a watch list.

Third, don't try to egg other people into doing something you are too chicken shit to do yourself. A real believer and hero for the cause would lay down his life for it, if needed. If you aren't willing to pull the trigger, you are not committed enough. If you want Trump dead, drive your ass there and put your money where your mouth is. And, as one poster said, it shouldn't be an issue because everyone will break you out and declare you the greatest person who ever lived. Easy peasy.

I got schooled in suburban blue with a school that had a real budget. There was brief mention of street warfare but the bolded part is most of what we were taught in regular classes. They didn't try to claim the Germans all just turned evil one day, but if I had to wager that as none of us were really given enough information to actually paint a sufficient picture of how Hitler came to power so I suspect the more idiotic among us definitely came away with this impression.

The only reason I started to get a real picture of how Hitler, but more importantly, Mussolini, came to power, and the circumstances surrounding that, was an open ended "read a book about a dictator" assignment where I picked Mussolini.

The levels to which communists had made both Italy and Germany fucking unlivable definitely does not get enough play in regular curriculum, but that's a puzzle piece we can't feed our children apparently

The thing is, when you try to legitimize violence as a form of political speech you legitimize the same kind of violence being done against your side. I don't know about you, but I want to live in a civilized country where we vote and hold town halls as political speech rather than sacking our cities and intimidating someone we disagree with.

This is how I've felt from the beginning. You want to hold a sign and chant a slogan? Go ahead. That's 100 percent your right (just don't block traffic, automotive or foot). You want to break windows and burn cars and loot? Hope you like prison.

I was born 95; and that's pretty much how I got taught it for GCSE's yes, No mention during WW1 of what Belgium was doing in the Congo, or how the UK had for the last five hundred years essentially made war on the idea of European unity. It was literally framed as a 'evil old regime vs new and shiny regime' sort of conflict. Hitler took power by force after being elected because he tricked everyone by making out like the Jews were evil. Then somehow all the jews died and America won the war!

History at secondary school level is shite.
