Good point. All the popular media narrative are directed at Nazis. So you’ve got only one side of the baddies depicted in media, films and apparently education, and a very cartoonish portrayal at that . The evils of the extreme leftist side is not taught.
I suppose we saw it up close - I remember watching the Berlin Wall come down on Tv. I remember the Soviet Union crumbling. I remember Chernobyl. I’m too young to remember the bay of pigs era but my parents certainly aren’t. We saw communism and we saw its effects.
Many of my colleagues over the years grew up in former communist countries - they certainly produced some amazing scientists and doctors - but not a single one I’ve ever met has anything positive to say about communism and more than one suffered some really bad shit before they got out. None of them are woke.
So telling that this side isn’t taught. Fascism and national socialism is one side of the coin, but you cannot understand it and defend against it without seeing the reverse side.

im starting to think my family is stupid. they want to go to the second largest city around late at night in the college area. during the highest racial tension in my life time, on fucking juneteenth. they are asking to be mugged. every time i bring it up they tell me "StOp WiTh ThE fEaR nObOdY iS gOiNg To HuRt YoU" like bitch that city was just rioting like a week ago. This event is not worth the risk. why can't these people just accept that life is NOT going to be normal for a while. I dont feel like getting beat within an inch of my life by some nigger because i wouldnt give him reparations or something
