I don't know if I love or if I hate that United States politics are a major part of everyone's politics.

The decentralization of American political opinion among those that can't even vote here certainly makes it harder for some of these groups to meddle when you have opposition cropping up in every country alongside the agitators.

So google made a doodle for Juneteenth. And made a video too. Its #3 on Trending, but they turned off the views and like/dislikes for it. I wonder if they astroturfed it and no one is watching.

Well it’s pretty hard to make them look like the good guys, but it’s essential to teach the context. You cannot understand the events of WW2 without the background (way more background than I have, I’m no history expert, just an interested reader)
The context teaches the conditions in which the Nazis arose - they didn’t spring fully formed with a dastardly plan. The context needs to be taught - both of that specific, pretty hideous bit of history and the lesson that the pendulum swings both ways, and extremist starting conditions lead to extremist reactions.

One of the really well done things about the Chernobyl series was how drab and grey everything was. They nailed that era’s visuals perfectly. Remember that we (and I’m only 20 and a bit years older than you) experienced and actual radiation cloud coming over, after years of scare about the ruskies and their atom bombs. This is why older gen X and boomers are less into antifa I guess. We’ve seen where it goes

America has to accept no matter how many donations, gifts and feel-good statements targeted for one ethnic group doesnt end racism. If anything, it emboldens it. You think native americans, chinese and mexicans are going to be happy seeing blacks get infantilized while shops get looted, college admissions get denied, and their backgrounds changed to white on doing anything to upset the social media morality police?

This is going to be a powder keg later in race relations in America and the longer it continues, the worse it will get.

The real issue is that they pretend that they can just... what, wave a wand and make up for the lack of skills and training that black labor has? Every company already trips over themselves to get a qualified black kid in there to get to go work - you can't take someone from a school that never bothered to teach them anything because it would be too much work to keep the class in order and then expect them to just magically be an electrical engineer

Not trying to powerlevel but I had my first real life argument with some of these cult-initiated fuckheads a couple of nights ago. Went to pick up a friend of mine who was drunk as shit at the bar and already has 3 DUIs. When I arrived there, I found that he was embroiled in a heated discussion with some rather drunk, typical redditor looking fuckstains. The guy I went to give a lift was too drunk to articulate himself so I stepped in and told them they were fucking idiots if they thought their 'allies' wouldn't turn on them next. I brought up the crime rates and was deemed a bigoted racist, they didn't miss a beat in their programming. I became fully aware just how indoctrinated these people are, it really is like a fucking cult. I live on the ass end of nowhere too, so to know that there are BLM Cult proselytes even here is rather alarming. I got the fuck out of there before I ended up in jail.

I'm tired of these motherfuckers. You can't go anywhere or do much of anything without hearing the cult indoctrination phrases. I don't know what the solution is, but it would certainly help if the authorities and the people in charge weren't capitulating constantly and bending the knee. You ought to be able to at least go to a fucking bar in Frogballs, Ohio without running plumb into a People's Temple meeting but here we are.
