I'm curious as to whether this whole ordeal will result in Days Gone being looked at in a more positive light afterwards. It had its own share of problems from the part I played, but it wasn't trying to clobber me over the head with its wokeness.

For anyone who has watched this whole thing through, if you've played Days Gone, how much action is there comparatively? And is there really much fighting the zombies or is it 97% people?

To make a comparison, Days Gone's grindy bullshit is nothing compared to Life is Mushroom 2 TLOU2's narrative bullshit.

You can tell there was a gigantic tug-o-war between what was supposed to be the game with a specific turn in the plot where things get insanely retarded (as opposed to an actual sequel with some minor faggotry), and you can tell Druckkkkkmaaaaannnn was the one that won said tug-o-war.

You can also tell he's flauting said "win" by self-inserting himself everywhere as a tongue-in-cheek to the people that failed.

And no, it wasn't aimed at the people that hate the game, we don't exist to him.
People like him (actual mentally ill narcassists) do not recognize their own faults and ANY evidence to it. Therefore we're alt-right trolls. And not real gamers.

I would love to see what the sales numbers of this game will be in the next two to three weeks, when the pre-orders and early buyers start to get that painful feeling in their tuches, and the word of mouth gets into full swing... I'm secretly hoping it takes a nose dive like Last Jedi. I know... optimistic as fuck, but I don't want this sort of shit to become the new normal.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake is still one of the top 5 daily played titles which for a single player game is rather good, I dunno if TLOU2 will have such longevity.

Despite FF7R's flaws it's still a good game and they did fill it out with meaningful progression and content.

Only about half of a games sales are actually revenue, meaning if it tracks like FF7, has the expected downturn past the weekend, and the low ball 100 Million cost is accurate.... that's still tracking for at BEST a narrow success. Also, this is assuming everything in the games favor...

Though I think the takeaway here is: A man used a multi billion dollar company to fund his 100 million dollar masturbation video game like it was nothing. You can do anything. And you just never have to buy anything by him again.

I'm not bitter, there's plenty of trash, and I give Cuckman credit for manipulating and making a fool out of Sony who will most certainly bear the most consequences. Druckman has inspiried me to write since there's literally nothing I could write worse than him.

Also I'm re-watching Black Clover, which has one of the best revenge plot lines and says revenge is bad but is very optimistic about it and actually teaches you why. For those that don't want to watch it: In a Kingdom where magic is everything, a boy is born without magic and has to train his body up. The main antagonists are what you think are a terrorist group called 'The Eye of the Midnight Sun'. In reality, they're a race called Elves born with extremely powerful magic, and 500 years ago, tensions between them and humans were high. But humans and elves strives for equality, going so far as to marry a human princess. Though all the elves are genocides by humans including the leader's pregnant human wife. This drives the leader insane, and he casts forbidden reincarnation magic, and his hate transforms him into a monster to try and exterminate the humans for revenge. A kind human is forced to stop him. 500 years later, the reincarnation spell kicks in and they try to kill humans again. But its not that simple. It turns out the humans and elves were both manipulated by an evil demon who feeds off their hate, exploiting their kindness.

It makes the point that if you never try to understand each other, revenge ends in tragedy as you can be manipulated by outside forces. This is gradually set up and foreshadowed over about 100 episodes and is a deconstruction of a typical shonen protagonist as the protagonist can't fight solely on his own and needs help. Its very optomistic, very tragic, and even the 'evil' elves you find sympathy with as the humans were manipulated into killing them. Its a very tragic story.

Its a complex story about revenge, redemption, love and loss and I really recommend it. It doesn't even have the typical tropes as the protagonist is portrayed as so nice because he's really just too stupid to understand things and very trusting. I'm also a little drunk at this point and Black Clover is one of my favorite shonens. It also has the 'stereotype' where the protagonist has a 'harem' (I use the term loosely) but doesn't give a shit because he's so dumb he's in love with a nun and refuses to recognize any other woman. The fights are also smartly done and well coordinated and give each character a chance to shine.

The East is still kicking ass and taking names.

Everyone should buy Jap games, Eastern Block games. Forget about TLOU 2, abandon the Western gaming market. Release your inner weeb. I'm going to get more gin now.

Also I dedicate this toast to Neil Druckman: He had a vision of a sadistic snuff game and cheated a billion dollar corporation out of 100 million and probably wouldn't be punished for it. Part of me idolizes that part. Fuck corporations. Neil, keep taking their money and turning no profit and beat them with the diversity hammer like you beat your meat to the single most disgusting sex scene in video game history.

The Last of Us 2 is dead as soon as Ghosts is released. I've been wanting to kill Mongols for awhile. Also be a samurai too. Nioh 2 is going to slay as well. Persona 4 gold too.

I'm also installing Neir Automata for real time wet robot ass.
