I realized another thing Monica might be holding a grudge toward Vic for that I don't think anyone's brought up.

What do people remember most about Ouran High School Host Club--least in terms of the dub? Tamaki because of Vic's performance. I'm sure the others are known for it as well, Caitlin Glass seems to be just as well-remembered as Haruhi like she is as Winry and Vivi, but Tamaki--I mean, Vic stole the show.

Well Monica actually scripted a vast majority of the show. But no one ever goes up to her to thank her for helping dub the show.

She did commentary for episode 4, but I don't have access to my brother's DVDs at the moment to check for myself (although I don't know if I really want to listen to her give commentary for 24 minutes tbh).

MAL has her listed under ADR director as well, but I don't know how true that actually is just going off of the first episode's credits. If she was ADR director, that means she was involved in helping make Vic famous. And that must rustle her jimmies real good.

The only thing that actually makes me sad about this is a potential reboot for Ouran that makes it past the early cutoff point (Like Fruits Basket 2019), that Vic won’t reprise his role as Tamaki Suoh which was actually the first role I heard him in way back. :(
