There are several reasons as to why they do that, based of years of observing Tumblirinas in the wild, but that is exactly one of them! Reasons generally include:

• Wanting to sperg about a person/topic/piece of media without resulting in other users related to their fixiation of choice interacting with their posts (this includes commenting on their posts or following their profiles).
• Not wanting to have their own posts traced back to them, whether is through the website's search system or by googling them.
• Wanting to censor "trigger" words/topics because they may trigger someone (which is why I have mentioned the inconvenience of this when it comes to using a blacklist, since nobody is going to bother blacklisting a thousand versions of the same word that triggers them).

In the case of Destiny's defenders, they all seem to wanna kiss her ass without being noticed and becoming an additional laughstock in this thread (that is why her name is not censored in comparison to the farm's). I don't think they thought about the fact that by locking their accounts (and not writting Destiny's full username in their posts) they would not need to do such a thing.

I saw this person's art on my dashboard, something that caught my attention was how similar their art and lineart was to DTM's. I dug into the notes a bit and found out that Ladysaytenn was the first note in one of their posts:

I thought this was kinda suspicious so I decided to do a bit of digging. I checked their instagram with no luck, then their youtube channel which linked to a facebook account, I went through their posts' likes to see if I could find anything and I found an account with the same last names as Moon.

The "Familia Alegria Solar" account only has 1 post though, so I couldn't look into it a whole lot. Anyways, I'm pretty sure this is Moon's new account. It looks like they're trying really hard to rebrand, they have an instagram, twitter, youtube, facebook, deviantart and even a tiktok.

Also as I was writing this I realized they have someone else with the last name Alegria following them. On instagram. Kinda sus this person was also one of their first followers.

I hope this is good. Also I couldn't really look into the twitter account since I don't have a twitter.

I'm pretty sure it is her, considering the fact that not only are all her old tumblr/twitter mutuals are reblogging her art despite only having 3 posts on her social media accounts, but her art is pretty much the same, except with a faux 90s style.

Is she using like Ms-paint or doing pixel art? Based on that bust it looks like it could be either but her trying to do like some 'retro 90's anime' isn't really working well. It makes think way more of the old MLP art style for the eyes and Starbright for some of the face shapes on that Harley and Poison Ivy.

I'm about 99% sure you found her (I leave that 1% when she comes out and outright confirms it). Besides all the proof you found she draws herself very similar to what she looks like/drew herself as.

In the speedpaint she posted, the sketch look sooo much like her old style it's almost undeniable (I don't think she posted speedpaints before but she did show previews of her art and I say this based on those). She uses the same/similar brushes, colors, head and bodyshapes in most of her drawing.
This piece looks the most like her old style (imagine it with the faces she used to draw and it becomes her old art):

(Also I'm not a calligraphy master so take this with a grain of salt, but the way she signs her art is also very similar.)

I'm not sure if she still reads this thread but if she does:
She said on her Tumblr that she'll upload once or twice a week which is good. Artists should focus on the quality of the art instead of the quantity and based on quality these are better than the old ones or at least more effort went into them. I can see that she is not very comfortable with the style yet but give it a month or two and it might look better. The 70/80's anime style users are dime a dozen in the art community (or at least from what I see) so it'd be for the better if she didn't base her new brand solely around that otherwise she won't stand out much but what do I know.

Btw here is an old theory of mine: DtM has a Discord account and she is obviously friends with that "ladysaytenn" person who posted that discord convo with DtM's old/close friend (who knew where DtM was born for some weird reason). What if that friend was DtM all along, that's why they never shared that person's name and never said their exact relation to DtM (and that's why they stayed intentionally vague about it)?

So after reading most of this thread it made me realize something. Even if Destiny needed hormones supplements for some sort of imbalance I doubt she would get any HRT. Birth control can be used as a mild form of hormone treatment to give the body more estrogen. Either way she still a woman and was never trans.
