So... I just discovered Alex's quotes that his quotebot uses for the Twitch streams:

This one particularly describes Alex's "maturity"

Your hardworking game developer, folks.

Y'know the whole Alex "not being able to find a woman" thing is kind of amusing. Most women would've found him attractive back in the day if he had actually changed his attitude. A lot of women these days would date him if he has a good personality since he wasn't that bad looking during his early days. My theory is probably his attitude drove women away from approaching him because the way one carries themselves is a huge turn-off for anyone seeking out dating someone.
Nowadays if Alex cleaned up and became a pleasant person to be around he might have a shot to find love. Then again change probably make his brain overload and he'd probably assume that the "gremlins" got into his head and is controlling his thoughts.

Found an old tweet that could apply to Yandere Simulator stating Steam wouldn't even try putting games with high school settings.
Where will Alex sell his "finished soon" game I wonder.
Obviously Yandere Simulator will be an Epic Exclusive for the sum of one million, I mean, one hundred billion dollars.

In seriousness, assuming that Alex isn't planning to cut and run with as much money as possible after a crowdfunding attempt, I assume he would attempt do replicate what Minecraft initially did and sell via his own website. Alex may claim that he plans to put the game on Steam, but I think even he knows that there's a decent chance that Steam will go the way of Twitch and either refuse to distribute it or, far less likely, slap an Adult Only on it and thus hide it from his target audience/supporters.

Here's a review of some erotic VN. I don't think this game will ever appear on Steam tbh.

There is no relationship. I sent him a sample of my art, which he liked, and we started chatting. Some highlights are attached, if you're interested. "I guess... if it's a h-humble toast..."

If you go to his most popular videos and sort by newest comments, ALL of them have their most recent comment at 2 months ago. This is especially strange on his most recent video about Snap mode, where the last comment on a 2.4 mil views video apparently was posted about a week after the video came out. There are two possible explanations I can think of:

1. His content is extremely disposable to his tweenage audience to an almost unprescedented degree
2. He set his comment section to "approval only" a la Total Biscuit approximately 2 months ago and next to nobody has found out.

I'm going to go with option 2, mainly because there are so many ex-fans as of recent that even if he was moderating youtube heavily you'd still expect some "ARE YA CODING SON" to slip through. Not to mention you'd also still expect the occasional "UwU devpai keep going!" yet there's none of that either.

Like you say, option 2 is the most likely scenario. Setting comments to approval only means he doesn't have to moderate his own comment section if he just bottle-necks them and leaves them in permanent limbo. Doing so also creates a false sense of "What do you mean? I haven't censored the comments" until you either comment on a video, hear from someone else, or look into the timestamps of the most recent ones.

Someone who wouldn't comment on the video wouldn't know, because publically it tells you that you can leave a comment and nothing seems amiss at first glance.

Which Twitch stream was that from?
Must be a quite recent one. The Yan-chan and Yan-kun body pillows are a fairly new addition to his merch.

He has a revenue stream but expects free professional grade art from his community for Hate and Shame 2 where he will no doubt use emotional manipulation and lie to everyone's faces again lol

What does Alex actually mean with this alcohol metaphor? Will he try to imply he is being "pressured" into making Osana, something he literally promised to his fans years ago? I honest to god hope it will be something deeper than that, but we know his writing skills.

>be young kid, unsure of oneself, desperate for social acceptance
>get pressured into doing something potentially unsafe, against your will

>be an adult, overconfident, desperate for asspats
>promise people things you want to do, fail to do so and get mocked for it and endure their justified annoyance

Alex genuinely believes these two things are equivalent lol
