As someone pretty familiar with Kentucky politics McGrath will likely lose here, she can pump as much money into it as she wants, McConnell sucks but Kentucky voted heavily for Trump and even though they voted for Beshear over Bevin that was mainly because Bevin was such an unlikable asshole, McConnell has been a key figure in Kentucky politics for decades now and will likely have that seat until he retires or dies. Another thing to note is that every big state seat in Kentucky, aside from governor, is held by a Republican.

Also, if you want to take opinion polls into count McConnell currently leads her by about 20%. Obviously things can change between now and November but I don't see it changing by much unless Mitch straight starts screaming "NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER" on a live microphone or something.

Just to add.
1) Both McGrath and McConnell have primary challengers. McConnell will probably win, but I will laugh my shiny metal ass off if McGrath doesn't even make it out to November.

2) KY does have a bit of the CA problem where there are some large population counties leaning heavily blue, while the rest of the state is heavy red. There should be enough out there to keep McConnell solid, but don't be too shocked if Louisville and Lexington vote heavily enough to swing it.

Although with the trouble in Louisville of late, it might flip red (which would be hilarious).

I still remember back in the 2016 Dem primary debates how Bernie supported the same ban on flying in Syria's airspace that generals and experts were warning would mean coming into direct conflict with Russia (who were of course bombing terrorists there). Bernie also was against pulling out troops from Syria, though with the flavor of pulling out is wrong cause Trump did it at a lightning speed of almost a decade after we first went in.
