Honestly Joel dying was bad but I think most people would forgive the game if Ellie brutally executed Abby and Lev at the conclusion. Her getting away scott free is what made the game irredeemable.

Agreed but she's not gonna go away scott free since Ellie bit her so now Abby is infected. Not that it makes it any less worse, because she was intended to live anyway, and because Neil Cuckman completely forgot about his own fucking plot that he himself wrote.

I have watched a few streams with Abby flashbacks. The younger Abby looks more female (yes quite buffed but in a good way imho).So yes she is female (but her actual model is ridiculous). And the sales story might be bacause of this

I didn't read a lot of the hype leading up to this so sorry if this is dumb, but did Fuckman ever actually imply Abby was trans in the first place, or did the Tumblr crowd just make assumptions and he didn't bother to correct them?

Been watching Jacksepticeye's playthrough. I can get through each 2 hour video in 30 mins or less if i skim over the walking simulator parts (i.e. most of it). Dear God this game is fucking boring.

I never had any doubt that it would do well during opening weekend, considering the original is so beloved.

But from a long term perspective, Naughty Dog completly fucked themselves, the same way Bethesda fucked themselves now. People will now think twice if they wanna buy a Naughtydog product.

Besides, who knows if these game sales will slow down immensely in the next few weeks.

Funny how they fail to mention the rate at which the copies they sold are being returned and how some stores like JB Hi-fi (Australian games retailer) are refusing returns/trade-ins altogether despite doing so earlier during the pandemic.
