The Last of Us Franchise - Because it's apparently a franchise now. This thread has been double-DMCA’d by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

I just thought of something.

If you really wanted to cast Joel and Ellie as antagonists or to reframe the morality of their actions why not remove Ellie's side as playable at all, and instead of leading with Abby killing Joel, start the game with that scene where Abby talks with her father before the surgery and then cut to her finding her dad dead. In addition to this, instead of making Abby lust for revenge, spend time building her and her group up and almost distract the player from the fact she wants revenge. Even distract HER from the fact she wants revenge. Make her get into the rhythm of being with her group, then midway through the game her group comes into natural conflict with Joel and Ellie's group.

This would take a more significant rework, since Jackson seems to be a thriving settlement, but maybe have somebody desert from the WLF and Jackson won't give him up, or make Jackson less successful and once Abby's group settles in that mansion and starts hunting for food have them come into conflict with the Jacksonites over resources. One way or another, have the conflict escalate to violence. From there we need to find a way for Abby to find out who Joel is. Maybe she already has his name and she finds an ID (as unlikely as that might be) or over hears Ellie or somebody else call him by his full name during an argument or something.

This last point is big: have Joel understand what he did to deserve death. And since Joel has so much experience doing fucked up shit to people to get by, have him be completely unapologetic. This is in line for his character and since we've spent the entire game with Abby, this helps fuel our sympathy for her. You get to confront the guy who murdered your father and he just straight up doesn't give a shit. Your dad had a shot at helping the human race and this guy took it away, and he's completely unrepentant. So obviously, he has to die. Or if you want to stick with Druckmann wanting to put out a message against revenge, maybe have Abby look back on everything she's gained and just decide that she's over it. Yeah that's controversial, but I get the feeling that given enough time and enough positive experience, that anger and desire for vengeance might just die down. Have her look at this old man who's in his late 50s or early 60s and determine that it just isn't worth it and that her group should move on instead of fighting a war and wasting more human life.

Also if Abby isn't a tranny as they're claiming, just make her look more normal like she is in the flashback scenes. If a twig like Ellie can get into hand-to-hand fights with adult males because this is a video game, the same should go for Abby.

So the first few day sales are identical to UC4 sales., (in the UK, 1% difference) as expected.

It would be extremely bizarre that the word of mouth doesn't damage future sales, and a theoretical TLOU-3 and ND in general.

Uhhhhh, I thought that Dina being Jewish was just a joke because she has a big nose but no, she's actually Jewish and I just explored a Synagogue where she talked about how her family has holocaust survivors and every time I found something, she'd tell me something about Judaism. Why did they have to make Dina look at stereo-typically Jewish as possible?
Also, I just got this scene where Ellie does a cover of the meme song "Take On Me"
Yes, so deep, I can take this seriously in 2020.
