Here's the "right wing extremist" one.

With a lot of these websites, chromium based browsers "developer tools" feature, specifically the "network" tab of the developer tools (usually 4th option at the top from the left) is your friend. A lot of websites use m3u8 playlists for their video content, so you filter the network calls by "m3u8", then refresh the page/play the video. You should start to see m3u8 entries appearing in the list of network calls, take the URLs for these m3u8 playlists and plug them into something that can deal with it. I personally use jdownloader2 but I'm sure other options exist.

youtube-dl can download twitter videos. It's basically a Python script which extracts the .m3u8 playlist, downloads all the .ts files and merges them together.

Things haven't gone off the cliff just yet, but make sure you're prepared in case things do and the societal hysteria doesn't go away.
