It would 100% help all of his "out of nowhere" bitching while, for instance, doing any driving in his games.

Everyone in his orbit eventually becomes a detractor. High school Phil would have had detractors for sure, although they had no way of knowing they were the founding fathers of what was to become such a movement.

I wonder if there are any relics from that time. Old forum posts perhaps.

I bet DSP was the type to try and verbally bully a kid at school, then drop bombs in his diaper the moment they step up. I recall some stories he's told about being bullied at school and they sound like massive lies. Some shit about how someone was bullying him and he warned them by using the word "kid" and then pushed them. Yeah right.

I wouldn't be surprised if Phil didn't bully anyone/get bullied much at school. I'm sure he talked shit about people, but he'd do it in typical Phil fashion, safely behind their backs. Phil is way too scared to interact with anyone, and I'm talking in the general sense, not even a hostile sense. During his fighting game days, he'd happily talk shit on forums, but in person, he was a giant coward, and it doesn't seem like there are too many stories of him interacting with anyone in general. I suppose an argument could be made he got like that from people shutting him down whenever he tried to talk shit when he was younger, but eh, I doubt it.

As for him not being bullied, I think it's the same logic as to how he's avoided getting in trouble with Twitch/anyone bigger than him. He just floats under the radar. I could see him experiencing some light bullying just because, well, look at him and his oddly shaped head. But there was probably someone/several someones who were more open/vocal that drew most of the bullying attention.

Yes and it's also expensive.

We know from the bankruptcy filing that he only has the cheapest health insurance available on the exchanges and it does not include dental or vision (these were never part of the ObamaCare mandate). Vision care is also expensive-an eye exam + new frames can be a few hundred dollars, and LASIK is only covered in part (my "standard" plan only covers 15%) with insurance. So that's weeks or months where he has to beg extra and cut back on impulse spending just to afford it.

Then you have to realize recovering from LASIK means a few days in the hospital where he has to live on the doctor's schedule, probably has funny vision after he gets out of the procedure, cant play gacha, etc. You really think he'd put up with that when not eating out three times/day is unbearable to him? Raising money for LASIK also means he's not the Alpha Chad he actually seems to believe he is and you know how touchy he gets about that.

So you're probably right about him not doing it to save face but that's probably not the biggest reason imo.

Phil has been legally required to wear glasses when driving since high school. This man says he has been in multiple car accidents, totalled his car in high school, and he refuses to wear his glasses when driving.

I can believe he was bullied. He supposedly went to an atheletic school and demonstrated no atheletic prowess except how to cut a WWF promo.

He might have been more in shape as a teen, but he would not have matched up against the students who actually played sports.

After four years of watching superior specimens win every physical contest, no wonder he clings to that fourth place win.

damn so he got into the left lane when he was doing about 40~ mph and wondered why a car doing 100~ was gaining on him so fast?
