No, but that's because late-stage radical Christians who protest are all old people who don't do shit. See: pictures of literally any Christian moralist demonstration, ever. They also generally had different tactics, having a much, much stronger hold in genuine political power than in pop culture.
But you know who DID riot and burn shit? Previous iterations of left-wing liberal radicals. Who were successful in the 70's, followed by extremism in the 80's as their power waned in favor of conservativism... And acted, largely, in reaction to Christian moralism from the 50's and 60's, who did basically all the same shit as Christian radicals from the 90's and 00's... Hmm, wow, it's almost as if we're at the middle-late phase of a 20-year cycle that's been going since the end of World War 1, where the same 2 groups of extremists keep repeating themselves when they respectively "silence the subversives" and get a hold on political power.

Also yes, I'd say we're leagues above cabals of doctors mass-prescribing laudinum to random housewives after "uncovering repressed memories of being raped by male relatives and then forced to eat their own babies in Satanic rituals." Do you genuinely think pillow-fisted modern "psychology" isn't any better than how things were in the 80's, just because muh troons? Are you actually retarded?
