Black heroes get the paint, too. Or they get erased because their public personas are now viewed as stereotypes. Every prominent black person before 2000 or so will be a "troubling stereotype" if not an outright coon, and will be unceremoniously erased. The deletion of history will be colorblind. No trace of the old history can remain, it all has to go so it can be continually reinvented.Yet they do, MLK (for all his faults he at least was smart enough to know how to win people over), tuskegee airmen, The Harlem Hellfighters, Patton’s Panthers, Lawrence Joel (a Vietnam war medic who earned the Medal of Honor the first black since the Spanish-America war), Melvin Morris (one of the first black Green Barrets and another one who earned the MoH), Muhammad Ali, just to name a few.
