the thing is other races always had something in their past where they were top or high powers, China had thousands of years of the Empire, Europe had Rome and England, for a lot of black people its just unbearable that most of their figures were underdogs even if they won and never the top dog. leftist agitprop also played into this by "looking further into the dynamics of then and now" mix in that with the lack of acceptance (because of their repulsiveness) and lack of achievement of many today and you have a recipe for compensation and projection

A triple whammy of over incarceration of black males (by the Democrats), combined with an overweening welfare system that incentivizes single motherhood and poverty (by the Democrats) and a brainless corporate "culture" of consumption foisted on young African Americans (By the J....Neoliberal Corporations). The end result is there are no father figures to culture the children, an economic system with negative incentives to discourage work and improving yourself, and a thin CONSOOMER replacement for solid cultural traditions and family life.

Throw in section 8 housing full of lead paint that retards brain development coupled with decades of institutionalized economic racism in big cities (by the Democrats) and its no wonder the black community is a basket case.

As in aside, at my work there is a young black guy just getting started with his life. He had no idea what an IRA is, how to save money, or how money even worked in general. On top of a very thin grasp of basic adult responsibilities. He's not stupid either, or lazy. its just that nobody bothered to tell him these things. I've spent the last week during breaks helping him out, and he called the same investment firm I am using to run my IRA to start setting it up. He's only 20 so if what I said actually stuck he will be thanking me in 40 years.

It should be noted though that these opportunities were specifically denied to African Americans up until the 70s. It was very difficult for them to invest, and almost impossible to buy a decent house with decent value. That is why there is such gross disparity atm. They are 40 years behind on the economic curve, since todays generation of white people are still riding the massive wealth generated after World War 2. Its is starting to improve, but it will still take a few more decades, and negative welfare incentives are not helping speed things along.
