I would rather see another Wutang watch party with Nick and Drexel than Weeb Wars.

Fucking Christ. No show prep again. This asshole needs to start reading the documents beforehand and just present his summary, critique, thoughts. We don't need some fucking asshole to sit there and read the fucking documents for 3 hours. We have the documents. We can read them our fucking selves. Do something to earn your fucking super chats you lazy asshole.

Wew, lad.

Wew, lad.

Nick is at his best when he has a guest.

Reading lengthy legal documents for up to 4 hours a night is rough. Can be hit or miss. Just because that's how he started his show with the Maddox Lolsuit doesn't mean it's a format he should stick with forever.

Nick has started to do a 10-20 minute pre-recorded video summary which he releases later on, but I do agree that he could read and summarise the documents and go more in-depth on certain things during his livestreams. I disagree he's best when he has a guest, the first deposition video when he had a guest was a slog to get through, but I guess you meant he's best when he a guest who knows what they're talking about.

Easy way to fix: death by dangerhair snu-snu.
The thought of Spectre having a cage fight against Ron "Danger Eyes" Toye, Monica "Danger Teeth" Rial and Jamie "Danger BMI" is more entertaining though.

Reading a document is a hit or miss format for a show, it could be top tier (lolsuit, greer, lacoste) or some boring ,repetitive case (ya boi zack and the 100th vic filing) we already know nicks general opinion by now.

He is at his best, engaging with a good guest or chat, the core audience has a lot of good extra content with the twitch streams and two different dnd campaings, but sometimes there's is no way to hide the lack of prep in the main show.

It would be nice if he could find experts in a field, like the self defense law stream, that was good shit.

I wouldn't mind these long streams so much if he wouldn't keep stopping to read superchats every paragraph. Nick's good at breaking down the legalese for the average layman, but he really does drag on a lot with his analysis and interpretations. However, sometimes it feels like he spends more time per video reading the superchats and responding to them than he does reading the document people actually came to see his opinion of.

He does do those pre-recorded 10-minute summary videos afterwards, but I can understand why people get annoyed at the constant interruptions.

Yes.

But he did have another guest for that show that more than made up for it. His best gust ever. Our fellow Kiwi Ronald Toye. Indirectly. Ron brings out the best in Rackets.

Between the Corona lockdowns, the riots that local governments haven't done anything to control and "autonomous zones" Nick should have a ton of material within the next few to several months. It's gonnna be lawsuit palooza.

I count Ron's deposition as a "guest" appearance. Seeing that weird little insect in action made it worthwhile and made Cody less cringe.

Then with Vic's deposition we got to meet J. Shawn and that was even better. When he croaked out CAWN SLUTS a star was born!

Man I forgot how fun early Weeb Wars was.

It was a simpler time.

The reason is the documents themselves are the stars of the show, with Nick playing straight man to the clown. The absolute incompetence of the legal documents generated by Greer, Lacoste's horrible lawyer and LanDUI is hilarious by itself, as is the reaction of anyone with a legal education to them. They're basically "Drunk Lawyer Reacts."

If the documents themselves aren't terrible, some actual insight into them rather than just mocking them would be useful, and the Weeb Wars shit isn't usually in and of itself funny. Vic's documents are not funny for Vic partisans because of their sometimes embarrassing nature, especially the terrible TCPA opposition. Nobody wants to see their own side fuck up like that. Johnson's documents, aside from the occasional bit of puffery about brave whammens aside, are generally competent, as are Volney's.

So the only really humorous documents are Lemoine's terrible documents and, to a lesser extent, Erick's before them. They're so bad I honestly wish Chupp would have actually read them.

In much needed better news tonight, Nick is going to cover the reply to Jamie Marchi’s brief.

I wonder if they fixed that to include the word count that is currently just ____, is full of [SPACE INTENTIONALLY LEFT BLANK] and has a table of contents where half the entries don't even have page numbers.

This one is considered the worst of the batch.
However, I have it on good authority that the Marchi brief that was initially provided is not the one that was filed on June 19th at 11:58 PM. We will see if Nick has that version or not.

The ones we got were obviously dumped by someone with an efile account and the (sic) in the titles indicates who named them.

Note, you are supposed to use [sic] in square brackets dumbfuck.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHA

Slacker.

Yea it took me a bit to learn to not get hung up on tough questions on tests. Move on, answer what you can and double back if there's time.

Hellrasier after the show! Shit I'm in. Hope he powers through this and gets to the moobie! I gotta get at least a little sleep so I can do my job tomorrow.
