I'm beginning to seriously question the education going on around WWII due to how often the connection is made or the fact that some people might even claim Trump is worse. Were none of them made to watch footage taken from inside the concentration camps or the ghettos? Not even photos or excerpts from those affected by the war? That stuff stays with you long past the class even if you're the disinterested type.

I had a professor start crying while reading aloud some of the accounts from women during the war, even though she'd read it numerous times before, because of things like them having to smother their own children to escape detection or leaving them to die in the woods because they had no supplies to take care of them. To somehow claim that the people that caused such extreme actions to happen are somehow not as bad as Orange man and he is somehow worse just leaves me MATI.
