I think a majority of his base hates him for this, which is why a bulk of his supporters always crawl to Trump once he is taken down. Once I heard he was in a meeting with Obama, I knew it was time to switch as he was clearly going to take the bullet and push Biden.

Bernie's entire 2020 campaign is the lynchpin between the groups you see currently leading these protests and was used as a legit form of cover to organise and fund all the chaos we are currently seeing.

Agreed, though it is likely also because his supporters hear the terrible takes from places like CNN where they say he is a communist. CNN treats him similarly to Trump in that they mislead, so now you have a ton of supporters that know barely anything about him believing he will bring upon the Communist revolution and eat the rich.

Trust me, I have seen tons of white girls on TikTok chant these things, whereas you watch the one interview and it is pretty clear he wants none of that.

Basically, he has many dumb supporters who want to be revolutionaries and only know Free college. I would not be surprised if they believe he will take away all guns, even though he said the contrary.

There was a lot that came out that says that the DNC did not want him and kinda rig these past two elections. The obvious was the whole Hillary fiasco of 2016, where they partook in group think to give her the ticket. If I recall, Tulsi was threatened by them in an email that her career would go nowhere if she sided with Sanders, which she did. In this election It seems like the three were stopped at any opportunity. Multiple news stations either left Tulsi and Yang off the candidates list, or they “accidentally“ used images of different politicians that are either female or Asian. It sounds like Tulsi was kept out of debates when it got withered down to Bernie and Biden, likely because she took out Harris with ease and Biden cannot make out a sentence, so a full rebuttal would be out of the question. There was also the Iowa Caucus which has been a target for awhile as it seems based on images and video that Bernie should have won, yet Pete did and Biden ranked high even though images came out where there is like one guy in his booth.

IDK, the Dems activities behind the scenes have been a wild ride, so who knows what the full intentions are. Either way, I know I cannot trust Biden and Pelosi.

I am late, but this is because leftists lack a complete set of moral foundations. They would lack the disgust reaction that most of us have to impure stimuli, such as urine.

I saw a movie years ago called Bloodwork that posited a regenerative drug, making humans essentially immortal, would remove the disgust reflex because it no longer served any purpose. I'm also reminded of the rat utopia. Basically, if you take away physical needs, people become psychotic and disgusting. I wonder if societies living in great privation show greater disgust-avoidance behavior. Maybe that underlies the hygienic codes found in ancient religious law. (Rabbis and imams, please respond.) There is also a general idea that as societies become more successful, they simultaneously become more decadent or degenerate. This has been observed for thousands of years. It's usually dismissed as nostalgia for an imagined golden age, but there's probably some truth to it.
