Maybe comprehension is hard. Wearing a mask to not get other people sick is simple, and common. These are easy things people can do to not make the situation worse, and do not require collapsing society. My statement is that it seems like Americans want a plague, not that I think there is a plague. Because anything short of a clear, visible, niggas dropping dead in the street doomsday plague is just "aaah aint nothin Imma do what I want" for too many people.
It is, though. And before you say "what about clothes?":It's not that we want a plague. It's just that people think mandatory masks are a violation of their civil liberties for whatever reason.
It has become too politicized.
Do you think that if asymptomatic people stop wearing masks, that singular act by itself will cause a dramatic increase in infections/deaths?
It is, though. And before you say "what about clothes?":
a. masks are going way too far. What if they mandated full-on hazmat suits?
b. clothes shouldn't be mandatory
Smoking in public places is more debatable I guess, but smoking is an active behavior while not wearing a mask is a passive one. In slightly different words, you're forcing someone to not do a certain thing versus requiring them to do something.Mandatory masks aren't akin to no shoes no shirt no service. It's more like smoking in public places. You're harming others by doing it.
It will happen as soon as the Tooth Fairy pays up what that bitch owes. Lol!We know at least 1 or 2, who suffered no other illnesses and were under 60. One before people were really worrying about covid in germany, but he liked to travel asia and died quickly of unusual respiratory related complications right before anyone was testing for that. And a few family friends that took a good month recovery to be functional humans again after showing symptoms.
I don't know what Americans want, stacks of your dead neighbors being lit up in funeral pyres on your front lawn before you might maybe begin to think its real? People are getting sick, most aren't dying, but some are. a lot of old but a lot of people who have issues and dont even know it. It's not the fucking andromeda strain, but it's a problem that you can't just ignore.
It’s not hard. This the biggest hoax since Global Warming. The mask thing is just good manners but there’s no way that storing Ching Chong victims in the nursing homes justified this financial Armageddon. It does, however, identify all the Darwin Awards candidates though, so not a total loss.Maybe comprehension is hard. Wearing a mask to not get other people sick is simple, and common. Speaking of which, remember when this seemed to turn Iran into a hellscape right before it impacted countries we actually care about?View attachment 1404055
Well shit boys, looks like whatever country not infested with the bug is gonna have a fun time with the clown house downstairs soon...
Speaking of which, remember when this seemed to turn Iran into a hellscape right before it impacted countries we actually care about?
Was there ever any resolution to that story-arc?
Anyone complaining about masks, that are not even a minor inconvenience, would also have to complain about pants being mandatory too... oh god damn.
Is anybody else starting to wonder if something more is behind all this? I'm not usually a conspiracy theorist, but it doesn't take a 7th grader writing a sociology paper to see the old predictable pattern. Fear of Virus > Lockdown > Economic Downturn > People With No Jobs + Media Polorization > Societal Unrest > Riots > More Government Oversight > ...?
Or am I crazy?
As someone who has to work 8 hours in a mask, it gets really rough to do work in them. I worked a double shift the other week at my store the other week..had to wear a mask the entire time during the second half of the shift because the store was actually open and after about having on one for an hour straight without being able to take a few seconds to pull it off and breathe it started to not feel great.Anyone complaining about masks, that are not even a minor inconvenience, would also have to complain about pants being mandatory too... oh god damn.

The folks who have to work in the Garden Area..and wear those masks I feel real pity for because I was in the very least near one of the AC units.
Now imagine that..on your mouth.I work 4 10 hour shifts mon to thurs and 1 or 2 8 hour shifts at the end of the week. I have to wear googles to do my job and it fogs them up at times. They also makes my face greasy. I'm glad I have a sitting job.
I complain about masks because at this point it's pretty much a placebo. either keep your distance or use a mask, both is just stupid. and let's not count how many times people wear them wrong, touch them afterwards, simply re-use them, all of that while touching everything else and behaving like the mask gives them some celestial immunity, which makes the mask fucking pointless.
there's a time and place for masks (like when you can't keep your distance), forcing everyone to use them every time leads to people getting sloppy and not give a fuck anymore - which is gonna be great once we inevitably get hit with a virus that isn't a nothingburger like the chinese coof.
