U.S. Riots of May 2020 over George Floyd and others - ITT: a bunch of faggots butthurt about worthless internet stickers

I'm fairly certain religion is all fake, but I still respect people's right to believe whatever stupid nonsense they want as long as they are willing to set aside the "murder non-believers" parts of it.

The attack on how people depict Jesus is so disgusting. How dare they try to destroy beautiful historic art worth more than any of their miserable, empty lives? Besides, it was created by a people whose original cultures were wiped out and replaced by Christianity, then they reclaimed a version in their likeness. That should be uplifting by their standards.

People have a right to portray this mythological figure any way they want. Churches aren't government or public property, what right do they have to destroy the property of a religious community?

Everyday I lose a little more faith that we aren't stopping this behavior.

Also, no lives matter. I don't care about your skin color, you are only important to a handful of people most of the time. You will die and be forgotten, one of faceless billions. A bus full of orphans matters less to me than my possessions. I always think it's a waste when they kill a perfectly good tiger because some idiot climbs into its enclosure to get a closer look. The tiger is actually rare and valuable, idiots are a dime a dozen. Being an enrichment activity is the most useful thing most of them will do.
Atheism is the superior and inevitable ideology/belief of all humans, so erasing worthless things dedicated to imaginary friends is justified. It matters not if your life is minimal and pointless, it is the goal of superior ascended humans enlightened by logic and science to erase worthless idols to imaginary and idiotic skyfathers. I'm disappointed an enlightened human like yourself would want worthless idols tied to a non-existent deity to stay.

Why would a YT news network become a part of Breadtube? You do understand that the entirely of leftism on YT ins't encapsulated by breadtube right?

Bernie is equally for gun control I mean he co-sponsored ERPOA and introduced the Background Check Expansion Act. He's been busy lately trying to get illegals eligibility for government loans. As for Obamacare well part of Bernie's platform was providing free transition surgery including top surgery and HRT so I don't know how that is less extreme than Obamacare. Let's also not forget Bernie has been a major proponent of the Green New Deal whereas Biden only came around to it recently which was in all honesty prob an attempt to scoop up bernie voters. Bernie's neatest trick is being intentionally vague on his policies that are crazy and hyping his most likeable ones. If you think he is closer to the centre than Biden you're nuts.
I find it highly amusing that Bernie Sanders plays the socialist messiah while simultaneously he owns three houses, one in Burlington VT, one in Washington DC and one at Lake Champlain.

Can we cut it out with the fedora shit? Seriously, theological discussions are complicated and depressing enough. I'd rather just laugh at idiots than hear your doompill shit on religion.
you're seeing atheist kiwis come out condemning the attack on christianity shown today and you're sour about that?

ok

No, I'm saying that I don't want to hear a bunch of spergs discussing how enlightened they are and how "hurr everyone will forget you" when this is supposed to be about the riots and/or stupid fools acting exceptional.

I wonder how well this will go once they start trying to burn down the churches of those crazy Italian families, or the fucking Mormons. You can laugh at Mormons all you want but don't forget that John Browning was one and all the Mormons I ever met have had a lot of guns.

Be interesting to see what happens when these idiots met some other fanatics.

I went to a few preper groups meetings a about 7-10 year ago. After about two years of hikes, shoots, and Meetups I was finally not viewed as an outsider by the Mormon circle in the group.

After a clay target shoot he showed me a few photos of a compound they have in the American Redoubt. Tons of guns and ammo. Fertile fields for corps and clean water.

Normal preper shit.

Until I saw a pallet of drain cleaner.

I asked him about that.

His response with a straight face was that it was to get rid of bodies.

Don't fuck with the Mormons. They are nice almost to a fault but remember the LeBaron clan in Mexico that are in a feud with the Cartels are Mormon.

For those of you seeing the similarities between Islam's prohibition on images and iconoclasm, Byzantium's proximity to Muslims has been a proposed explanation for the earliest iconoclastic episodes. If you look into it it seems to be a debate.
I read some shit years ago that tried to blame the women being forced to wear head coverings on the Byzantine empire, no idea if thats bullshit or not.

Pro-PRC User CaptainCool07 believes dues to the riots, US might collapse like the USSR:

And he says:

Not saying its good or bad, but pointing out eerie similarities

He even criticizes the mob mentality of the protesters and rioters like in his previous video

Who puts a PhD and a Master's in the same subject from the same school in their professional bio? That's like saying you graduated high school and middle school. And why does he keep doing master's degrees instead of publishing actual doctoral-level work? Is that some way of keeping your job if you can't get published? I'm no research expert, but I only found 3 papers on Google Scholar. Well, maybe I can find more on his faculty page or his personal site.

I am currently working on The Universal Negro Improvement Association and African Communities League Ritual and Catechism. New developments in the fields of anthropology since the publication of Randall K. Burkhett’s Garveyism as a Religious Movement (1978) has led to new directions within the filed of ritual studies. Foremost of these new directions flow from the work of British Anthropologist Talal Asad. Asad, for over two decades has been at the forefront of post-colonial studies and has been dedicated to the study of the contribution of western monasticism to our understanding of religious ritual.[1] The UNIA rituals that grew out of the shared experience of oppression were predicated on the foundation of the religious faith of black folk.[2]

Criticized by the NAACP as “silly rituals,” the theology of UNIA is probably the least studied and most misunderstood aspect of the African diasporic centered communal life of the UNIA. However, the ritual aspects of UNIA ceremonial life were arguably a motivating factor in driving membership. But were these rituals and mythology able to support and sustain the spiritual life of its membership? By understanding the role of ritual life and how ordinary rank and file UNIA members interpreted it we may begin to reveal more questions surrounding the sudden rise and decline of UNIA. My task is to re-examine the theological framework and the ways in which the ritual life was interpreted and understood by both UNIA-ACL members and their supporters and critics.
Oh, he's working on a book about the religious rituals of a pan-African black nationalist organization founded by a Jamaican immigrant conman who made common cause with the KKK to ship all the blacks back to Africa, hated Jews, and went to Federal prison for securities fraud. (He essentially crowdfunded the voluntary ethnic cleansing of African Americans. Didn't deliver, will not support next project.) If Marcus Garvey hadn't died 80 years ago, he'd deserve his own thread.

People doubt my gay ass when I tell them if there's one group of fundies you don't wanna push too far it's the Mormons, I think the nice front they have disarms people but once you get to know them you realize they're all basically Joshua Graham.

Catholics as well, I think a lot of these 'activists' have forgotten just how willing they are to die for the shit they believe in. There's a reason most of the American cemetaries for our soldiers in Europe have mostly crosses marking the graves.

What has happened to Bush era liberals seriously. They have abandoned all the good free speech shit for turning into the very monsters they hated. And raise a new generation of monsters as well.

It happens to every generation really, look what happened to the hippies that chased their dreams of peace and love in the summer of love and tormented us with disco.

#4 irks me. We're not letting EVERYONE out of jail / prison. Some of those people belong there. If they were wanting the release of all prisoners arrested for drug possession (which the CHAZ manifesto mentioned), I'd be for it. But rapists, murders, pedos, child abusers, the worst of the worst, belong in jail. It would be a giant disaster to release prisoners on those chargers.
