Inactive Richard "Lowtax" Kyanka - Deadbeat (emphasis on "Dead") founder of Something Awful, forced out of his own community, on his second divorce, stuck his dick in crazy, "Birth Giver"

Allegedly, through reregs and shit, they have $5k/mo coming in and there's $2k/mo upkeep, and he has his <snicker> $2800/mo patreon (that may be gone by the first of next week), so that's a net profit of around $3k/mo, but I wouldn't trust any of those figures except the collapsing patreon.
The forum money will dry up along with the patreon. There‘s probably a few hundred diehards that will give him a grand or so. Lowtax will close the place the second it loses money.

It's gone down like $400 since I woke up this morning

I feel like this video deserves to be shared again, if it has not been already during this episode. I imagine this to be his reaction when it dawns on him that he will never be able to afford a Goldbelly pie ever again.

Logan’s latest FB post also fascinates me, since she says flat out that she loved Richard with all her heart. Definitely never fucked him, no sir.

I wonder when the pregnancy test arc will begin.

Well if she goes home to mom and dad with BABBY FORMED and they're conservative Mormons...can you say "Shotgun wedding child support"?

I doubt reregs are going to provide much income in the coming months since people are leaving and I doubt the mods are banning many people, especially people that would register again. As site traffic dwindles, so does ad worth and that’s assuming goons aren’t contacting companies and letting them know they’re supporting domestic abuser.
All told, I wouldn’t surprised if the site itself was already on thin margins and most of the profit was from Patreon. Richard seems like the kind of guy who is living paycheck to paycheck already with significant debt.

It’s funny seeing goons react to facts we’ve known for years, and then act like there was no possible way they could’ve known this shit until now. Idiots.

speaking of which, it’s a shame Logan is getting Queen Victim treatment out of all this. She was a primary participant in the maligning and humiliation of Ashli. She knew all about lowtax’s history and went along with it anyway for a thrill.
Ashli talked shit about Megan based on lowtax’s lies, but she likely did so out of genuine concern for the kids and didn’t have benefit of pages of records detailing lowtax’s bullshit. She’s still dumb as rocks for marrying a dude like lowtax after meeting him once, but much more deserving of sympathy than psycho Logan.

Logan loved Rich as a BUSINESS PARTNER and nothing else. Stop trying to insinuate that during their drunken blackout strategy meetings that Logan would climb on top of Lowtax and extract enough viable semen from his barely functional penis to create a new life.

Nah, for real though, since the kid will definitely have her last name she should name the kid Drinking so that on records he'll be listed Day, Drinking.

A message reputedly from SA admin fool of sound to the following effect is being circulated:

hey i can give updates: logan is safe, we have someone in contact with her. we're in negotiations with lowtax atm. if that falls through be in a place where you are in contact with other goons. we're goingt o try to make sure the community stay together as much as possible

I am trying to locate where this is from in order to confirm (obviously some Discord), so until someone has a screen take it with a mountain of salt.

Even if you did trust those figures - there's going to be a lot less registrations, re-registrations, AV changes, etc with so much of the userbase taking off. So that number is going to plummet regardless.

This implies they’re going to trash the place. This is wonderful.

While waiting for his pateron to drop even more. What's the deal with goldbelly? Are they even that good or is it more of a status symbol? For the price, they better be made with gold.

I was wondering that too, so here you go:

Goldbelly is a curated online marketplace for regional and artisanal foods crafted by local food purveyors throughout the United States.[2] Goldbelly's staff curates products from restaurants, bakeries, delis, etc. to feature on the site and facilitates shipping across all 50 states.[3] The ordered food sometimes requires preparation and cooking.

History

Founded as 'Goldbely' by Joe Ariel, the company began its operation from a townhouse in Noe Valley in San Francisco with a four-person team of Ariel, Trevor Stow, Vanessa Torrivilla and Joel Gillman.[5][6][7][8] The site accepted into Y-Combinator in 2013.[9] Time Magazine named Goldbelly one of the 50 Best Websites of 2013.[10] In 2013, Goldbely closed on $3 million seed funding led by Intel Capital.[11][12]

In 2017 the company moved its headquarters from San Francisco to New York City.[13] In October 2018, the company changed their name from Goldbely (with one L) to Goldbelly (with two Ls), raised $20 million in Series B funding led by Enlightened Hospitality Investments, the fund formed by Danny Meyer's Union Square Hospitality Group, and had Danny Meyer join the company's advisory board.[14]

The interesting part though:

According to one review, as some of the food is frozen, the experience can sometimes differ from the taste customers get at the restaurant. "

It's a status symbol for those with more brains than money. Iirc while perusing that one SA thread (or maybe this one, idk it was hours ago) someone posted a picture showing that one of their dishes was sold at a different retailer for like under a fifth the price or some ridiculous shit.

Yup. A lot of rats are fleeing the ship before it hits another woman.

edit: I'm interpreting "we're in negotiation with Lowtax atm," as, "we've sent him messages he is not responding to."
