What I am about to say is completely impossible, but there is a part of me that wants to just give the PoCs control of everything. Every position of authority, ownership of every business, and control over all media, news, and entertainment. Just give it to them. The whites will step aside for, lets say 5 years, and let them run everything.

It is possible that she was participating in the riots and received burns while doing that. But, not wanting to be associated with any fires that may have happened due to the protest, she instead concocted this story to cover what happened. This is all wild speculation on my part, but that could explain it. She might be afraid cops will link her to something if she doesn't have a cover story for those injuries. From the article - note "photo supplied", which means it's not a picture taken at a hospital, and you can readily tell that's a photo taken in a bedroom, probably hers.

I know the photo doesn't enlarge very far, but consider that the article quotes Althea as saying "... and my neck caught on fire and I tried to put it out, but I brushed it up onto my face." If her neck had been on fire, she'd have no hair left on the nape of her neck, and the burns she claims occurred because she "... brushed it up onto my face" would have singed her right eyelashes and eyebrows. Frankly, those look like rug burns, so I'm wondering if the real story is that she had a train run on her by 4 frat boys, got her face burned on the rug in the process, and when her parents asked about it, she had to come up with a bullshit story, just like the NYC Muslima that claimed her hijab was cut, when the reality was she was out drinking with a boy her father didn't like.

Edit - something I just realized, she said she was driving, and the visible burns are all on the right side of her face, which would be the side furthest from the alleged assailants. In fact, most people sit back in the car, so I'm not sure how her neck would have been more exposed than her face was, for it to have been the target of the lighter fluid.

Even if you sprayed someone with lighter fluid it would be extremely hard to throw a lighter that would stay lit while in flight and hit the right area and ignite it. Unless they threw a zippo or something.

Any of these phony racial attacks can be sussed out by simply looking at the injuries the supposed victims sustained.
