Also there's some case for/against the translated LP of Danganronpa creating enough interest in the series to get it localized, but at the same time that brought in a bunch of insufferable weebs. At least it was funny watching them get banned in short order though since this happened before gender politics took over.

I would love an archive of the 'real life' scary stories thread(s) before it is lost. I know they were fake, but some of them were interesting, like the blood mirror.

I've posted about it before, but I've always had a soft spot for Jeffrey because he's dropped things here and there that indicate he doesn't really buy into the far left nonsense, and the worst behaviour I've seen from him is kind of pathetic, not hugely meretricious. But he's spineless (following precedent in Something Awful ownership), and I'm sure he'll give in to the reeing mobs at least as often as Lowtax did, and probably more, given that he's actually around the place a lot. So I'm sure he will be, if anything, worse as far as the quality of SA goes - not that I read it much outside some very specialised threads which are isolated enough from politics that cultural nonsense seldom intrudes.

The problem with Jeffrey is that he is pretty petty and passive aggressive. He basically did some weird thing for gangtags that only seems to trigger on Trump Towers, turning them into white dots. Except sometimes it breaks and only turns one half of them into a dot, etc.

It's extremely odd. You'd think it was cache nonsense.

If goons had any sense, they wouldn't be goons. More specifically, nobody with any sense pays 10 dollars to join an internet forum now, and it's questionable how much it was worth it way back when, too.

Oof. A double blow for Lowtax. His sole source of ego is better off without him, and furthermore the website and community more important than him is Something Awful.

:winner: PREDICTION :winner: : Lowtax will go on the Dick Show and claim he was about to give up the site anyway as he was tired of it, too many people bitching on it yadda yadda, decided it wasn't worth the shit, and then he'll maybe suck up and say maybe make a tepid tranny joke to try to appeal to Dick's base without going far enough to upset old SA contacts as he still hopes to keep their approval.
