See most trans people I know - including myself - have always known something was up/wrong. Basically they grew up dysphoric and it only increased exponentially when puberty hit, and later in life they learned the terms to articulate what they were feeling. Unfortunately it was too late for things like puberty blockers to be given to intervene for them, which makes the transitioning process harder. Trans kids exist, it ain't an adults-only club. However that doesn't mean you drop everything the moment a kid says "I'm this," just like how trans adults have to go through the processes to get to transitioning also means that children also be supervised and evaluated by doctors before taking drastic steps. But this...? Ergh. But then again I can't take anyone who bitches about ""truscum"" seriously.
