All I can say in favour of this comic is that the art isn't the worst I've ever seen and at least it's not faux-manga. Other than that, yeah, same comments as everyone else. Unrealistic dialogue, strawman characters, contrived and dull plots and ultimately the whole thing comes across as a wish-fulfillment fantasy from someone who, having spent a lot of time and effort becoming a member of a minority, is heartbroken to discover that actually she doesn't have as many problems to whine about as she hoped.

It reminds me a little of the shitty right-wing comic Diversity Lane, thankfully defunct. Unlikeable child protagonist running rings around her oppressive parents while spouting dialogue that no human, let alone child, has ever used. Although Assigned Male feels like confirmation of every liberal stereotype the author of Diversity Lane ever dreamed of. Maybe we could put the authors in touch. They'd either kill each other or wind up fucking.

She was born male. There are a few comics showing her difficulties with transition, which are actually rather good, and it's a shame the entire comic isn't like that.

Well technically intersexed people do exist but they are never refering to these people.

Those people are so rare it can be considered a genetic anomaly. those are the people who ACTUALLY need hormone treatment even though most of them won't really be able to reproduce.
Edit: Their genetic problems won't let them mature past puberty and that can cause problems.
