I think you can blame a great deal of that on Brenton Tarrant. Of course it's been going on significantly longer than that, but he's the first one who said fuck the optics and went in, and in doing so gave the left all kinds of shit to hurl back. Dylann Roof, Patrick Crusius and Stephen "DoorCuck" Balliet also played a part but Tarrant changed the entire game. These guys have been more damaging to the white identity movement than anything the media has managed to pull out of their asses. Most of the LARPers are either absolutely retarded or glowniggers. Anyone on the Internet for any length of time at all will know saying shit like that will get you an unfriendly visit from the alphabet boys unless you are one.

I’ve been around for not the longest here, but a while, and have seen a lot of stupid things go on in this country. I think prior to this, the most egregious display of pure lunacy was with the circa Bush-era religious right - the fundamentalist Christians. But what I’m seeing now takes the cake, and I never imagined that would happen.

It used to be near-impossible to criticize that group, because you were politically and culturally just not allowed to, for reasons of timidity and sensitivity. All the while, the movement retained and gained political ground using that — able to handwave facts, data to the contrary, and even non-emotional takes. That’s certainly not how they are viewed now.

So on the one hand, that gives me hope for the eventual rejection of this iteration of pure lunacy too, although God knows how long that will take. But when I wonder what finally allowed effective criticism and the dismantling of the evangelical fundamentalist right, what cracked those political and cultural walls, I think it was 9/11.

When faced with such a terrible, horrible act in the name of fundamentalist religion (whether it was more politically or religiously motivated is moot by now), people like Dawkins and the New Atheists were emboldened to launch critical assaults on it in the following decade, and had the definitive event to point to in the face of the prevailing sensitivity.

So on the other hand, it worries me that it will only take another comparably lethal and tragic event enacted by who could be representative of the left, to really reverse the virulence and similar non-critical propagation of BLM and IDpol, and their political and cultural immunity from criticism.

Based on what we have seen, in this thread but well beyond it, I am entirely comfortable believing that those on the far left are capable and willing to perform such an act out of belief in the good of their cause. There are extremely similar to an evangelical, religious, fundamentalist militant, and are well equipped with the necessary dogma along with a confused (inverted, really) ethical orientation.

I keep saying it but to me it has so many parallels to Jonestown, parallels that a lot of people probably aren't even aware of because the whole "Marxist race-baiting cult" part of that is usually left out or glossed over when talked about in modern times. The Peoples Temple really started picking up steam in the early 60s when they relocated to California, coinciding with the early days of the counterculture movement, and ended in 1978 in the grape-flavored way that we all know about, around the same time all of the hippie-dippy lunacy was finally starting to really peter out in the US, being followed by the very conservative 80s. The Peoples Temple/Jonestown had plenty of support from [some still-active] left-wing politicians and social activists at the time, including glowing write-ups about all of the great work they were supposedly doing. I think something horrible will happen that will totally discredit and kill the movement once and for all, and all of the corporations and celebrities that donated huge sums of money will be scrambling to explain away how they were so foolish as to support what was clearly a budding terrorist group. That's one reason it's so important that people have been keeping track of who's making which statements and who's donating what.

History has a way of repeating itself. I think the 2010's were basically the 1960s part two, and now the 2020's will be like the 1970s part two. Just hang on because 2030s could be great, and in the meantime, never underestimate the power of a dissenting voice.

Morons on twitter and on a discord server I am on are going on about fireworks that are going off around the country at the same time every night. They are claiming these are done by cops to incite riots.

Apparently there is no other reason aside from cops wanting to beat people up. Anyone here have a clue what the heck this conspiracy bullshit is coming from? Because the retardation people are displaying is disgusting.

Tarrant is one of the best examples of a man who has his principles, his doctrine and theory all figured out, but he fell victim to either pure psychosis or impatience. He said it himself: "I thought to myself, why isn't anyone doing anything?" which became "Why aren't I doing something?"

In truth though his actions fucked the white identity movement for a long fucking time and we're still seeing it now, especially in the form of copycats like Crusius who basically just copied Tarrant's homework. I fear Crusius and Balliet won't be the only copycats and I hope like hell nobody does anything stupid during this period. Violence is exactly what they want, they want to be made martyrs and they thrive on and feed off of victimhood. Victimhood is essentially their ideology. Even defensive actions like the guy in New Mexico are bad optics though they absolutely shouldn't be and that man was well within his rights.

The calling out of glowposting gives me some degree of optimism though, some are starting to police their own movement which is mostly a good thing. I maintain that most of the LARPers are either fedposters or stupid edgy kids who don't understand the logistics of this thing at all. They could stand to learn a thing or two from George Lincoln Rockwell. Rockwell didn't utilize violence, he'd go into the belly of the beast and he'd be mostly amicable, joking around, even if everyone else in the room hated his guts and jeered at him. The violence of Rockwell's group was pretty much always defensive. I still think his death glows brighter than a thousand suns though.

Never mind the conclusion of the "study" -- what people should be worried about is the fact that they are using cell phone data to track where people are. That is a far greater danger to Americans than a few bad cops.

My current problem with Trump's strategy is that while he talks a mean game, he hasn't been emphasizing enough in media that all Federal options are available while condemning states who refuse to use them, or emphasizing that he's exhausted all federal options himself. He did it once or twice, but it needs to be pounded into everyone's minds that it's up to the state to stop the violence.

By just tweeting "LAW AND ORDER" over and over again (little meaning beyond the first few times), it sort of makes him look weak.

Stuff like the Parks Police protecting monuments is an excellent move, but probably could have been done earlier to prevent damage to some of the monuments already done.

Honestly there must be a much bigger chess game going on in the background that the public doesn't know about.

Trump needs better advisors. It would be easy to craft a narrative for him not stepping in. All he would have to do is say that he could step in, but that federal government involvement should be the last resort. It's a state's matter and with competent state leadership, they should be able to solve the problem on their own. Of course, if they cannot do it, he will be happy to send in federal troops to take care of it. But, that should only happen if the state government is unable to do its duty to protect its' citizens, their businesses, and public property. How hard is it to say that? Then he should just keep reiterating that the failure is at the state level and that he is happy to step in if asked to do so, but he's giving them every opportunity to correct the situation. He should also tell them that if any citizens of these cities are unhappy with their leadership's lack of response, they should petition the Governor of the state to have federal troops sent in.

I don't even like Trump and I'm no political genius, but even I could advise him better than whatever morons he has surrounding him these days.

I'm not sure where it originated but I've seen the whole "OMG fireworks why?!" fearmongering too. Where I live fireworks at random are just a thing people do. Maybe they're in a area that only has them on special occasions.

I can't speak for your area, but my area firework stalls and what not start to up around about a month before July 4th (if not even earlier) and even though its illegal to set them off that early, people do anyways.
