Those people are so rare it can be considered a genetic anomaly. those are the people who ACTUALLY need hormone treatment even though most of them won't really be able to reproduce.
Yeah, and i do see gender identity problems as an actual mental disorder (seeing as they are actually qualified as a mental disorder by most health professionals).

There's a stigma around words like 'mental disorder' but it's not that different from any other medical condition. If you inquire about someone's glasses they don't flip their shit. "I'm DIFFERENTLY SIGHTED you intolerant scum!!"

I found thins in the Bad Webcomics Wiki
"You don't understand. You're living the dream. You won't go through the trauma of puberty. Your voice won't break. You won't grow a beard."
-- An older trans woman, speaking to Stephie referring to Stephie's option of going on hormone blockers to avoid "masculinization" from puberty

I think trying to avoid puberty is not only a severe case of peter pan syndrome, but is also going to cause alot of health problems later in life.

Yeah, i totally agree. A lot of this thread has kinda gone on the side of "Trannies are just trying to be something they're not" which while true, I still think that it is something that occurs without the person wanting it to occur. (Though tumblr has made it seem the opposite). I think a person has a right to wear whatever as long as they aren't harming anyone, but at the same time I know others have opinions on this that differ than me. As a person who does have similar feelings of not being exactly male I don't believe surgery is really the best option or hormones (both of which can really fuck you up), and i'd prefer to just work with what I have and try to be happy in other ways because my gender isn't the only thing about me and i'm not really obsessed over it.

She was born male. There are a few comics showing her difficulties with transition, which are actually rather good, and it's a shame the entire comic isn't like that.

Some examples:

The last one is my personal favorite as it gave me legitimate feels. If tumblr was never born this comic might have been good.

Wow, it's almost like when Sophie isn't writing critical theory academia babble screeds, she's capable of writing a narrative that kind of actually gets her point across!

Too bad she lacks the self-control to continue like this due to her need to push her agenda.
