His recent videos have a noticeable amount of PC/SJW talk. Such as claiming a kid dressed up as a Native American in Old Yeller was "offensive". He also talked about a song that was later cut from Cats for a character talking about fighting the Chinese in an "offensive" way.

Depending on environmental conditions and how long the water/flour mixture was allowed to rest there is a chance the dough soured before being baked (i.e. sourdough), that is all I can think of, I have never heard of any one describing hardtack as having any sour flavor (or really any flavor at that). When I had it, it was as the other accounts.

its much stronger than any sourdough ive ever had, and i dont recall it having that taste when fresh and it went into the oven after at most, an hour of total work time from the flour. only in this year plus old hardtack does it have this taste. im not even sure what to call this flavor to be honnest, just an odd funk it has.

I havent gotten sick from one of my roof tiles though so... success?

It's not just Biden. In Seattle, the CHOPpers were very anti-Mayor Durkan. It's true that when the protest was breaking up some self-appointed committee told people to vote Biden/Durkan but that committee could easily have been something the DNC set up and DNC aligned media decided to treat as being grassroots when it was obviously pure astroturf.

When Antifa say 'liberals get the bullet first' they really mean the DNC.

Mind you it seems like local government and the media can turn Antifa on and off depending on how sympathetically they are treated by the cops and journalists. So at the start the cops pulled out, Durkan said it could be a 'summer of love' and CNN/MSNBC, etc said it was peaceful. Then when the time came to turn it off Durkan said the cops were going back in due to all the crime and that crime suddenly got covered by CNN/MSNBC etc. And the cops went back in.

The Democrat's relationship with Antifa and BLM is not like their relationship with the KKK. There'll be no equivalent of the Klanbake DNC Convention in 1924. AntiFa and the far left hate people like Biden and Durkan. However, that doesn't stop the DNC from turning on the chaos in an election year to try to destabilize the country and make Republican incumbents look incapable of delivering law and order.

Also, people like AOC act as a sort of interface between AntiFa/BLM and the DNC - they are obviously to the left of the DNC but the DNC has failed to purge them and they give hope to the far left that one day it will control the DNC. Actually the far left have tended to get outmaneuvered by centrists when it comes to control of the DNC - see for example the 1968 DNC convention. Not that that helped the DNC in that case.

The whole covid-19 thing set a precedence to use unreliable and data not publicly available to enforce/extend executive authority and silently minimize oversight of the authority. I hope that's a continuing trend here in the states. They've tried since day one to try and ruin the President and they keep upping the ante every single time it doesn't go their way. Maybe I'm overly optimistic but I sort of think this will happen in the US too. There's no enthusiasm for Biden and the only reason you get majorities saying they support BLM is fear and oversampling of Democrats in polls designed to produce that result. Once you give people a secret ballot they'll stick with the GOP as the lesser of two evils.

Trump might be forgiven for his misreading of the political situation. Some of Biden’s advisers had the same initial view of the politics of the protests. Biden’s campaign is led by an older and whiter group of operatives who came of age during a political era when many Democrats saw large-scale protests for racial equality as inherently alienating to many white voters. In some quarters of the party, street protest brought back the traumas of 1968 and Nixon’s 32-state landslide.

The expected revolt of white suburbanites against the protests hasn’t materialized. Instead, they’ve joined them.

“This is no longer a traditional wedge issue because all of a sudden white Americans, particularly college educated whites, understand that racism is real,” said Cornell Belcher, a veteran Democratic pollster who worked for Barack Obama. “Those white suburban women now understand that they have skin in the racism game as well. And that changes everything.”

That makes me think that even if Biden is elected it's not the end of the world. And, frankly, even if he was elected on a platform of defunding the police it could easily get blocked in Congress.

America's trajectory is definitely down but I don't think it will implode in the next 4-8 years.
