The only statue I can think of that is "the lefts" that the left doesn't want to tear down, is the one of Lenin in Seattle, which ironically is on private property

So the city council wants to defund the police and have community activists / social workers respond to emergency calls. Okay, below is an incomplete list of the highest priority calls to Minneapolis 911 from July 2017 to June 2019. In red are some of the calls that I am pretty sure need a cop and in green are some of the calls I think can be handled by social workers. The report was done by the city of Minneapolis and I have not included multiple other calls the would require cops. So they have about 30,000 out of a 171K where a social worker might be the better choice. At the most extreme, the data suggests cuts by 17.5% to the police where social workers can handle it.

Oh I see the boy mayor finally realized who his constituents are and what they support and it isn’t the fringe left. Too bad it might be too little, too late.
The silver lining is that all these radical leftists are concentrating in the city itself, while the people in the suburbs and rural areas remain delightfully sane. It’s self-segregation and easily marks who to engage with and who to run away from.
If this was a mosque, the news would be covering it for days. Since it’s a church, there won’t be a single article written. Sharia law coming to Minneapolis sooner than later!

Im going to disagree on car accidents if its 911 worthy its either because its a fender bender and some one gotreally angry or its bad enough that in addition to Fire/EMS you need police for crowd and traffic control while Fire/EMS helps the injured/recover the dead.
I also disagree with Emotionally disturbed people, they can get violent and their have been many cases where an officer ends up dead or injured because of them, some times disturbed people just want to hurt people.
We are at "tomorrow" they already have called for or already removed statues of Washington, Jefferson, T. Roosevelt, Grant, people who worked to free slaves, etc.

I disagree with the car accident, as there's a possibility of someone getting road rage. Only because road rage can go real bad, real fast. Same with Emotionally Disturbed person (at most I would say the social worker goes with a guard as backup [and at that point cost-wise you'd just send the cop]). I agree with the welfare one though, I think that's the only one I feel very confident replacing police with social workers.

It's a very capitalist friendly version of Marxism. In the original formulation of Marxism anyone running a company is part of the bourgeoisie and anyone working for the company is part of the proletariat. The bourgeoisie oppresses the proletariat and the only solution is to abolish private property and have a dictatorship of the proletariat. This would completely kill all US companies.
In the new version of Marxism oppression happens on identity-based lines. Men oppress women, whites oppress blacks, straights oppress gays. Class ceases to be an issue and in fact, dividing society on identity-based lines actually cuts across class boundaries and makes it very hard to organize on class-based lines because everyone hates every other identity group. A brown woman with a degree is gender studies and tenure in an elite university is more oppressed than a homeless white man in this scheme. It's like the opposite of class-based politics. The elite can bring in immigrants to undercut working-class wages which is good for them but disastrous for the working classes and then claim anyone who objects is 'racist'.
Suppose you're running Apple. You sell hardware that is designed to be obsolete and is made by Chinese exploited labor, kept in line by the Chinese Communist Party which is ruthlessly authoritarian and state capitalist. Under old school Marxism that needs to stop. Under the new identity-based variant all you need to do is change your logo to a pride flag during pride month, tweet out Black Lives Matter when BLM is rioting and censor 'hate speech' (people complaining about immigration or the riots) off your services. And have a gay CEO. And suddenly all the exploitation doesn't matter. In fact, Apple is a really striking case. They used to make their stuff in the US with highly paid US workers and build it so it could be repaired and upgraded. And it wasn't that much more expensive than it is now. All the savings they made by making it in China got pocketed by the company.
