Somewhat related, but Canada's had some protesting and stuff lately and now they've joined in on the "noose epidemic". This link only has video from CTV News about the story, but there have been a few nooses planted to be fake hate crimes found in the buildings that are being constructed within the Toronto area. Also reported was a noose being left on a bus (I think) in Vancouver with some passenger yelling at someone and telling them to hang themselves.
If I found a bunch of nooses around I would just assume some autistic person learned to tie that type of knot and was obsessively going to town whenever rope was available. Maybe I'm too pure for this world.

Since tonight is a Saturday night, do you think things will happen?
The cops are standing up and using force (finally) so there's little room for shenanigans, as well as it seems like streamers are not recording the good stuff (aka no one streaming in Minneapolis/Atlanta).
The executive order is also a deterrent, since the biggest instigators are either arrested or in hiding or (hopefully) at a black box site [really wtf I love the Patriot Act now??].
People who are able to watch at night -for the past week it has been very bleh. Low energy! Sad! Many such cases!

Is this the case for anyone else (except for pee girl, of course)?

She might be stupid. She might pee outside. But she's happy!

Michigan, USA

Small-scale protests continue all over the state, though looting seems to have stopped. A sample of local events and drama over the past few weeks.

Ottawa County
Protestors June 27 were angry about a statue of "a Confederate soldier standing back-to-back with a Union soldier, each holding their respective flags. An enslaved child is depicted at the base of the statue holding a sign stating, “Freedom to slaves.”"

Ypsilanti
Mayor Beth Bashert resigned, June 23, after saying, June 16, that she would be "crucified" if she voted against appointing any black person to any commission, and proceeding to be the only "yes" vote for reappointing black man Ka’Ron Gaines to the city's Human Relations Commission, from which he had been chronically absent.

Jackson
The Jackson City Council unanimously voted to declare racism a public health crisis June 16. That same day, a similar proposal was rejected by the Jackson County Board of Commissioners along racial lines (the seven white men voted "no"; the two black men voted "yes"), who instead passed a nondiscrimination resolution (seven white men voted "yes," one black man voted "no," the other abstained.)
