I know that humans were depicted differently because my Historian friend and I were discussing Ancient Art, she wanted me to give an artist's impression on depictions of cave art and when I discussed the simple human design she gave that answer.
I learned through personal interests in Mythology that many religions believe that names have power, God is the ommission and censorship of 'Yahweh.'

Interestingly a lot of people suspect that Yahweh may of been apart of a larger collection of gods which is why "You shall have no other gods before me" is used other than "there is no god but I," however I'm not very familiar with this ancient religion, only that Yahweh is often known as "The Brutal God of War."
