Finally decided to sit through the trailers and check this thread out. This supposed leak seems to match the trailers. Had to sit out for a bit to reflect on this pile of shit. Even though this is a pretty terrible retcon for a bullshit reimagining of the Terminator franchise, ignoring all that leaves a still pretty terrible and clunky story.

Does God exist? Is this our punishment for allowing this kind of garbage to make it onto the screen?

Is it just me, or is hollywood getting more and more afraid to cast capable looking action women? Look at this child they cast as Sarah Connor! Most recent action movie women (outside a few like Gina Carano) these days look like 16 year old little girls or doe-eyed waifs like Anne Hathaway's Catwoman. Either way they look completely incapable and not credible doing the things the movie wants you to believe they're doing. I'm not saying they need to all be Chyna from the WWF or anything but like the OP said, Linda Hamilton in T2 at least looked like she could handle herself.

Its like they want to have women doing "badass stuff" but making sure they still look weak and incapable and child-like. Its like Japan has taken over.

As a general rule of action cinema, if your female character looks like she can actually kick ass, you have to kill her. See also: Michelle Rodriguez.

But yeah. I just don't give a shit about this franchise any more. The story doesn't even matter. The first one said "bad future gonna happen," the second one said "bad future not gonna happen any more," then the third said "bad future happen but later," the fourth... I barely remember and now the fifth is going to do more dicking around with time travel. Then there's a TV series and a series of novels, all contradicting each other. Basically, nothing is at stake, because however it ends, they'll just ignore it with the next movie they decide to shit out.

When I look back upon my surrogate father, the T-800, I must admit I didn't like him at first; but then I slowly realized that he was a pretty cool robot, that he shot up other robots, never to kill of course (because the film was PG-13), and doesn't afraid of anything...
