I find it funny that those who are supposedly anti-war like using draft dodger as an insult. When people say this, they are usually referring to the Vietnam War, which had to have been one of the most unpopular wars in 20th century America. People absolutely hated fighting in that war and veterans that came back from it were treated like terrorists by their own people. Any sane person with money and/or connections avoided the draft. It was unpopular amongst the poor as well, and they would try to avoid being drafted too, some even moving to Canada to avoid it. The people that use draft dodger as an insult have never had the fear of being called to serve in a war (let alone a massively unpopular one). If anyone is anti-war, but uses draft dodger as an insult, they are hypocrites.
