I find it funny that those who are supposedly anti-war like using draft dodger as an insult. When people say this, they are usually referring to the Vietnam War, which had to have been one of the most unpopular wars in 20th century America. People absolutely hated fighting in that war and veterans that came back from it were treated like terrorists by their own people. Any sane person with money and/or connections avoided the draft. It was unpopular amongst the poor as well, and they would try to avoid being drafted too, some even moving to Canada to avoid it. The people that use draft dodger as an insult have never had the fear of being called to serve in a war (let alone a massively unpopular one). If anyone is anti-war, but uses draft dodger as an insult, they are hypocrites.

Yeah, leftist attempts to appeal to the right are always extra cringe because they have no idea exactly what it is about these things that causes conservatives to have any sort of reaction at all, and they're also incapable of considering that right-wingers might actually be smart enough to know the argument's being made in bad faith.

It's also why they make all these attempts to say "Look we found a couple of veterans and cops and Sky Fairy Preacher Dudes that support us! Now you have to listen to us!" because they're incapable of conceiving of giving a group or individual respect without also ceding authority to them. For them respect and authority are essentially the exact same thing, the idea that you can respect a group without also giving every member of that group some amount of authority over you doesn't occur to them. Hell, that's the whole root of using the phrase "Black Lives Matter"... in their mind all they have to do is get you to admit that you respect the right of black people to live, and thereby you've ceded authority to all black people. And since the DNC owns black people, well!

My favorite thing is to look at people that do the whole draft dodger thing and flat out tell them: "I did my time in the military, but if they'd tried to draft ME for The 'Nam I'd have cut off my little toe with a fucking butterknife first. Fuck that cluster fuck of a police action."

Or just remind them that not only did their side spend time spitting on vets and protesting vets and calling them baby-killer, after 9-11 they did everything they could to hide what they had done, so the last thing I'm interested in is the Left's opinion on anything regarding the military, wars, veterans, the draft, or anything else.

That was a race war that exploded after the communist government dissolved and briefly became a democracy but it was only then followed by race riots that would then quickly escalate into a race war that broke the country apart in which Yugoslavia was no more and they became their own separate countries after that.
