Cracka (2020) - Kino is back on the menu

Didn't the Twilight Zone movie have a segment very similar to this already? Vic Morrow was a bigot who found himself living through different eras as the people he was prejudiced against? I remember it being handled much better than whatever this abortion is supposed to be.

The left can't meme? Should be the left can't write.

Same segment where the megalomaniac director got some vietnamese kids and the lead actor killed when a helicopter crashed into them on set. What was the guys name again? Father to someone I think named Lax Mandis.

Oh good, it's free on kindle unlimited. Lol, I can't read that, Ashley will make fun of me. She'd never believe I was just reading for the world-building instead of the steamy three-on-one gay sissy racist rape.

This movie will sink without a trace.

"See? We're just as bad as you! .... .... .... Wait..."

It seems this creator really didnt understand American History X. It wasnt just the fact that Edward Norton got buttraped that changed him, it's because it was done by those he thought he could connect with instead of those he had spent so much time hating.

Holy shit this is like kindergarten level failure. The story should be that in the alternate history world, the blacks should be treating the white relatively nicely. Giving them minor freedoms and treating with the same condescension as blacks faced up till segregation ended and in some cases, still continues today. Bam. Theres your fucking movie. This is just literal torture whitey fanfiction largely made for self loathing whites, like the producer.

American History X came from a better time for the culture in which things were written with intelligence.

What we have today is basically the lack of intelligence that gave us masterpieces like the Michael Bay Transformers movies but applied to political stuff.

It's just as idiotic and lowest common denominator, but instead of robots going "WUB WUB WUB" and stuff blowing up it's a message of "FUCK YOU WHITEY" because when it comes to complicated and sensitive subjects like race you want the intelligence level that brought us Mudflap and Skidz, wrecking ball robot testicles and John Turturro getting pissed on with gasoline.

This is that show glimpsed in V for Vendetta, only woke.

We are only a stones throw away from the dystopian nightmare of something like V For Vendetta but from the opposite end of the spectrum than the white supremacist Norse Fire.

Interestingly enough the film adaption of V For Vendetta was supposed to take place in 2020.

Watched the trailer. It's isekai. Very poorly thought out isekai, since even though black people rule the world, all the clothes, weapons, etc. are lifted straight from the civil war/cowboy movie props department- the only way this could really make sense is if our neo-Nazi protagonist is actually dead and this is his hell/purgatory.

This might be worth a hate-watch (after finding a totally legitimate copy floating on the high seas of course) just to see how tone-deaf and sadistic it is. If you'd written this story twenty years ago (as Steven Barnes did, more or less) then the overarching theme would be how evil is evil, and develops in predictable ways no matter it's cosmetic features; white, black, it's all the same from a spiritual standpoint, because we're all human underneath. It's [the current year], though, so they're going to try and have it both ways by making the main character irredeemable for being white while being put through the wringer for it. If the creators are bad enough at making him unsympathetic (which they might well be, since they're not going to consider the possibility of a white supREEEEEEmacist being sympathetic) it could develop a semi-ironic right-wing following, Man in the High Castle-style.

While every single show is being tweaked/taken off air to avoid offending people, this is garbage is allowed to go on air.
White Lives Don't Matter. That's the revealed preference of the SocJus uprising (and the stated preference of Oxford.) Though honestly, I think this is a good thing; not in the "this will be a good movie" sense, but in a "heighten the contradictions" sense. The media and academia have been incubating this shit for decades; it's better to get it all out in the open sooner rather than letting it continue to fester.

Getting back to the movie, it's interesting because the scenario it presents violates one of the core rules of SJW storytelling: pea o'sees can only be good guys, being held down by whitey. The only way for the movie to resolve this is by finding some way to claim that ACKSHULLY the slave-driving rapist murderers are the good guys.

Though I am curious about one thing: will Diabeeto review it? Normally I wouldn't hold out hope for him touching on a made-for-TV movie with student film production values, but it's not like there's much else for him to CONSOOM these days. Also, it's topical, and the content itself seems like the perfect cue for him to really let his petty sadism freak flag fly. If he starts associating the neo-Nazi chad main character with his high school bullies, he might just create something that puts "Magneto was Right" to shame.

Hope springs eternal.

Interesting idea. I do like AUs and what-ifs, and I'd be curious to see the path of alternate history that would ultimately lead to a scenario where blacks were the slave masters. My guess is that you'd have to go back to the Middle Ages to lay the groundwork properly ... Beginning with a series of epically failed Crusades and retaliation strikes, perhaps ... Hmmm.

Sounds like the film could've been done a lot better, though, and in Current Year you just can't trust anyone to handle anything race-related with even an ounce of subtlety or imagination. Someone just spent a lot of money on failed bait.

This was why I found White Man’s Burden disappointing - it never examined how the situation occurred or the implications of the society, just straight-up swapped everything. The plot could have been about a black man in our world.

TBH, this film seems to do much the same, but in a historical setting.

"A lot of money." Pressing X- assuming that this film was first conceived of on May 21st, and is going to air on July 1st, that means it's entire development cycle is about six weeks. Everything is gonna be straight off the shelf, because even if they didn't want to do things that way there's no time for anything else. So somebody spent film school money on failed bait.

The only actual upside I can see to this movie is that it's about a neo-Nazi getting a wakeup call, and the elevator pitch isn't "American History X, but..."

I agree that White Man’s Burden's is flawed for how it never tries to explain how it's AU situation came to be, but it's still way better than this.

The latter comment explains the former. This was almost certainly very cheaply cranked out with most of the clothes, props, and sets recycled from other projects. That's they're plan to attempt to turn a profit.

Unlike Cuck it might actually work, since there are a lot more people, both white and black, who would fap to a muscular white skinhead getting dominated and tortured by muscular blacks than would fap to a greasy, whiny, fat guy getting sexually humiliated by ugly people. They couldn't even bother getting the plot description right and say it's an alternate past, not the actual past. That's how dumb this is and how little of a shit they give. It's not a sincere attempt to be intelligent or thought provoking on any level, it's bait as other people have said, and raceplay porn with the rape sex removed.

I'm on the fence on this one. Unless it hits that Blair Witch/Tiger King sweet spot- exact right material, exact right place, exact right time- this is probably going to sink without a trace, just based on the fact that the only place I've heard of this is, well, here. This is probably one of the most on-the-nose topical cash-in attempts in the history of the planet, and zero ambient buzz from what I can see.

No rape? Let's not go crazy here, the gold standard for this kind of movie is still American History X.

I don't think it'll pull Blair Witch or Tiger King profits. I'm just talking about the possibility it does better than make even, or at least does better than Cuck's famous zero dollars.
