Perhaps...but the range of salaries for that position are $10.15 to $28.65 (very few seem to make more than $20; that pay grade seems reserved for the 1%'ers) $16.36 is a citywide average. So, if they started him at $11 and raised him a buck every couple of years (which would be bigger increases than the cost of living, a nice gig if you can get it), he'd be in the $16-20 range ($12-$15 US) Put into perspective, in the nation of CHAZ, the dollar equivalent of $20 Canadian is legal minimum wage.
The average pay has also dropped a nickel an hour in the last 3 months, which suggests downward wage pressure (probably attributable to Corona-chan)

Each bar on the graph seems to be worth about $2, although there is no legend.
He might be up to $20 by now. Or $19. Or $18. But whatever he is making, it ain't a whole lot by 2020 standards, and he could be replaced by a hungry Indian at the drop of a hat. There really are few jobs that are less ambitious than his; it is like he set out to find the most mind-numbingly dull work possible. Not that the monosyllabic, comic book reading, fat ass ogling, open-mouthed chewing, non-grooming, troon fantasizing, aging, sloppy loser seems much capable of doing anything else.
Between the two of them, they may be pulling in $4000-$5000/ month after Peetz pays his taxes (no way Clotso pays any taxes), which is enough to live on if they split the bills and still leave plenty for food and comic books. It leaves almost nothing after food and comic books though, so things like taxes, furniture, car repairs, medical incidentals, emergency bills, retirement, etc. are probably beyond them for the most part. I doubt either one has a savings that would last them more than a month or two if SHTF.
But neither could comfortably live alone, so they are glued together for better and worse until something dramatic happens. Clotso is already sick of it, while Peetz' true feelings remain unknown but he may well be sick of it too. Not much they can do about it though, heheh.
