When you're in an environment where people will judge you very differently based on your race it only makes sense to claim whatever part of your ancestry they will prefer. Remember how Obama was hailed as the first black president by the media even though he's only half black?

It gets even more confusing with Jews because not only are they racial mutts, no one can agree on whether they count as white.

And that's not getting into the fact that even Jews can't agree on what counts as a Jew.. there are groups that say you're not a Jew if your Jew ancestry comes from your father's side of the family, for instance. It's very confusing for everyone.

The only value I find in Reddit are piracy subs such as r/Piracy, r/CrackWatch, r/OpenDirectories, r/DataHoarder etc, and occasional tech related subs which contain tutorials or hints for certain problems, like the one I recently found on fixing FreeSync monitor flickering. And that's the part I'm most worried about. I just hope that peeps from r/DataHoarder and Archive Team can smell the floor burning and have already made plenty of backups, and that they can find an alternative place, like r/Piracy found on raddle.me, even though it's a commie shithole.
