No, no, noooooo.

I actually like the idea, but holy fuck the execution was super sloppy. The editing is shit (and I'm not talking about bad inserts of cameo - those are kinda given), the script is all over the place and has no center, his lazy attempts at jokes. And special note to Quinton's pink shirt. No I don't give a fuck about what's printed on it, I'm just of the opinion that overweight people should be banned from wearing pink, because there is no color that is less flattering to them.
There were some decent cameos, tho often undermined by Quinton's script. Unironically, I think the best cameos are the silent, background ones. Well and JacksFilms. he feels like the audience surrogate, never identified with a character in a video so strongly before
Imo video's worst points are when he tries to be artsy: the dream, the lefty council, the "void". He should've cut the video at around ~25 min. And that just showcases how editing, specifically the part where you're supposed cut the bs out and leave only what's needed to what you want to say, is lost on Quinton

And a sidenote of how this is a big project for him, he probably hoped for it to be his next big vid, but it doesn't seem to be blowing up despite some big name and amount of cameos. Oh and I can't know for sure obv, but I can bet he tried to get his queens Lindsay Ellis and Contra to cameo

Any chances of me watching this died when I saw that this monstrosity is over 40 minutes long.
I can barely even make it through Doug's skits.
Its like Quinton's version of Doug's The Wall """"review""""

At least Doug's, "The Wall," can be watched due to bile fascination. Quinton's video is just boring after 30 seconds in.

No, no, noooooo.

That video was actually frustrating. It was a great union of old content creators and new ones, and Quinton somehow made it painful to watch due to his shit writing, and pity partying.

Add in The shit editing (Not even the intentional ones), and the length of the vid, and you have something on par with To Boldly Flee levels of pain.

I hate that this stupid video makes me pity Quinton for being a preening, talentless, whiny loser. Honestly if the guy disappeared front he Internet he’d be happier. But Q is an attention whore so we know that isn’t going to happen.

I honestly connected to give the super important summary but @semiurgent did spare me some responsability there, yet since I already leaked most of the scenes already which are still greenscreen in case you want to experience this is bitesizes (0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) and even made a indepth summary of the also leaked script which stayed mostly unchanged and the most worthy changes being in this update but after all Quinton's vision sounded if optimistic very interesting in concept, however you can say that about every bad piece of media and we wouldn't be here if it wasn't for it's execution. After all the discussion about this sole video meant at least five new pages in a bit over an hour, which is sorta of a personal record for one reviewer boy. Also, according to most kiwis the not finished version that got leaked a day before the official premiere looks better.
Allow me to start with the obvious. This feels and looks like a Channel Awesome anniversary movie down to getting some notorious alumni and them being the majority of the characters that have more than one line of dialogue. Quinton probably prided himself like Linkara has done that at least he watches the people he got for this production as if all the people that cameo'd on this are in Q's watchlist and therefore are not forced to play characters he feels they are and also gets over having to deal with production details (catering, housing, etc) that characterize how CA movies are seen by most people. Thta however doesn't excuse that Quinton decided to get a lot of people with very different sound quality and green screen that makes it look even cheaper than how a production in YouTube tends to be these days.
Quinton despite writing this himself and knowing exactly how he wants the performance to be ends up feeling like a stalker pathetic pariah but probably through his own insecurities of playing the bad guy goes very soft on it so you only end up getting a jackass talking directly to the audience which is a very odd yet inconsistent gag. What I mean is that eyesights rarely meet in this video (to be expected when everyone is greenscreened) yet Q doesn't really seem to have a consistent idea of where to look when addressing the audience and he only directly looks at the camera once (which comes later than other notable things I want to point out).
The Jreg scene (6:07, but recommed 4:49 for more context) is a very good starting point to know what's to come since he seems to be amongst the only people on this that can actually act, however he seems to like most of his energy and despite that still comes miles ahead of most of the performances in this shitopera (he wrote Jreg tellig him he had great hair despite the fact that his hair has been receding for almost a year). The scene is notable to me for the very minor reason that Q uses his own irl friends as extras in this scene and credits them as "stock footage extras" when he could have made this thing more personal and with more room for error by centering the plot around his friends. Also from here onward you notice where most of the ninety something cameos went, they became voiceless background gags and usually stated as still images than don't even move. Outside of ego gloating there seems no reason to include so many people on this and he is only exacerbating the problem that CA movies had since most of the cameos only are used once in the Void group shot.
"Rantsonas" scene (7:49) is a rather weird scene and given that the whole video sorta revolves around telling Quinton's own journey in VidCon lefts me with the feeling that Q at some point did insult somebody unknowingly, which has not been proved and is only speculation. This scene is very botchy because it features reviewers that use cartoon stills to express multiple emotions yet they aren't on display, which granted could tied to how Q's hardware was corrupted and pushed the premiere for three weeks. This scene is very puny in nature and everyone with dialogs sounds muffled and lacking energy (specially notable with Saltydkdan).
Linkara (9:17). A meeting of two fat pasty white nerds with horrible posture. Remember that there is a plot and this is the first seed of it, comes at the end of day one of VidCon which culminates in 19:28, in a world in which only Lupa, some transgal called Tessa X Thompson and Guru Larry are the last surviving youtubers.
Worthikids scene. (11:28) This is to VoidCon what FENNAH's animation was to NC's The Wall. Worthikids went to the trouble of making a model based on a Rankin/Bass character, rig it, animated it and voice it. This high amount of effort contrast with Quinton's hyper dry delivery and makes Worthikids a total champ in my books.
Garfield Panel (15:55). Worthikids passes the torch to the people in this scene which is at least the second best acted in the whole video. Teddy Gray, Garf Gab and Brendaniel do good performances and Emirichu with just one line became one of my favorite characters in the whole video. The only guy that is not even trying is Creationist Cat who for some reason appeared before in the beggining.
Jacksfilms and Cosmonaut Marcus scenes (start at 24:04). Enough has been said already about these in particular but come as the most honest performances in this shit.

You can totally just watch from here onward (28:24). The Leftist Council which includes Jack Saint's terrible green screen, Nyx Fears hatwoman extraordinaire fumbling her lines and a bald guy that happens to be bald. Could be a reference to how people think Q kicked the bucket after getting political or he himself admitting he thinks leftube considers hima grifter. Then follows the Void scenes that are nowhere as exciting or well acted as my very optimistic past self thought they would be. As leaked before Erik from ICE (lol) was the only one to change his lines and made them around the Traitors of America list (reminder that Q had pretty much to beg OAG to get in) yet Q didn't change his lines so it's like they are not really talking to one another. Later on he gets shills for VoidCon and its how you can tell who was included later in production, like Yo Mama of whom Q was going to make a Fallen Titans but decided against it after Outback Zack inserted himself in the Keem v. H3 drama and then BLM.
39:00. Group Shot. Try to find who hates themself enough to be in this. Allegedly Nick Nocturne (NightMind) accepted to be in this and I didn't bother to search for him which would be hilarious because in his Lasagna Cat analysis he showed fanart of himself as Garfield. The video could have ended there but Q filled six minutes extra for some reason.
Two (37:27) are a song by Hot Dad that looks like a retarded anime OP.
Two are the credits for both cameos and patrons. Another two are for an after credits scene where he is literally asking the viewer why the fuck they are still watching.

Only three cameos commented in the video and like ten tweeted about it and they were as generic and dry as you could imagine. Despite sacrificing almost a hundred of content creators to satisfy his ego (which most were attracted by a pity party) he still felt the need to bitch about how some of the fans of the cameos aren't fucking retarded and know who Quinton is. Very few changes were made, the most notorius being that Innuendo Studios doesn't appear in anyway and was scripted as making a video about getting people in voids. Fs in the chat for Flowergothic, the New Guy girl and Gutian for not even getting an invitation, the former is part of the Quew and the latter was the first person that noticed Q in his time of need and even invited him to a stream he didn't want a part on.

This particular video appeared on my feed while writing this. This covers just one dimension of the many shortcomings of VoidCon.

I watched this when it premiered and I smiled like the Cheshire Cat thinking what the Farms would say. My Virtual Vidcon 2020 is so strange, it's like To Boldly Flee and End of Evangelion stepped into different teleporters and got merged The Fly-style. None of the jokes land, with each one feeling way too dragged out (The stop motion one especially in my opinion).

Each of the cameos were nothing more than cameos. No personality to them, making it obvious that Quinton wanted to be able to swap actors depending on who agreed to the project.

The visuals and editing are abysmal and while he probably intended that, to give it a cheap Channel Awesome vibe, it just makes the whole video unappealing to look at.

I don't hate Quinton, I used to be a fan of his and if he actually started putting out good content, chances are I'd become a fan again. But this is just so horrible that I honestly can't even begin to fathom what was going on in his head when he thought of this idea.

Quinton, please stop being a faggot.
