When I was taking programming classes in the late 00s/early 10s the professors would give special attention to the women in the classes even if they didn't want it. The only reason why the guys in the class even made an effort to talk to one of the girls in one of the classes I had, was because she worked for Micro Center.

Tech has a lot of autists in it too, who tend to be sympathetic and easy to manipulate into believing SJW nonsense. Most of the SJWs I know are either autists or have personality disorders.

Another hypothesis: industries and subcultures dominated by non-alpha males rarely interact with women also become simps when women enter their space. It's the only time they can get women to notice them.

It almost feels like they were primed and then a switch flipped and now all those threads are being pulled together. It’s at the point where if one posts about something, like the stupid Tamir Rice post going around or Elijah Kitten Violinist, then I know I’m going to see it 20 more times throughout the day as the rest of the Borg gets the updated messaging. I do question how much of support of "SJW" there really is in Tech. Go back 10 years ago and longer and the autistic at the level who can get a job and suceed was like that clip of the comic book guy in The Simpsons where he questions why there were small irregularities in a cartoon. The sterotype was people who would get in to (online) arguements over small details, and factual definitions and technicalities. My suspicion is that they found them selves a job at Google (or other big name tech company) found a group of "friends" and people who finally "accept them", and when SocJus started to become a real thing afraid for their jobs and getting bullied again by the "in group" they are now part of, are spouting SJW stuff because they know they will be harassed and kicked out.

There used to be 2 clear paths in secondary education: college prep and vocational. I really think we need to go back to that. Those who wanted to go into careers that required a college degree got the courses they needed to prepare them for that. Those who didn't, were able to get courses that prepared them to have a decent job/trade once they graduated from high school. Some of that is still available, but the push is to try to get as many kids in college as possible. They are really failing a lot of kids by pushing a route that will leave them in debt and no useful skills when they drop out of college after a semester or two.

That's okay, though. The goal is to indoctrinate these kids and leave them with nothing so they become radical discontents.
