I really don't see Derpibooru lasting much longer at this rate, with every brony artist under the sun wanting to put themselves on the DNP list (because it's been weaponized harder than e621's long ass list), the scene being smaller, and the downfall of the MLP fandom in general.

e621 has managed to withstand more than this because of both the fact they usually remain silent on big issues, or because they tend to take a more quiet approach to furries. Either they'll ignore bitching furries, or do something very small (see: "gynomorph" tags, the cub login filter) to try to quiet some parts of the mob. The only thing they listen to is the DNP request list, which is career suicide since the DNP list ensures that you'll never get noticed on one of the biggest furry porn sites. DNPing on e621 doesn't kill e6, it only hurts your own chances of going viral.

Then there's the fact that unlike Derpibooru, e621 is funded by Bad Dragon instead of Patreon dollars. BD is probably the hardest company to cancel in the fandom even with all the scandals, and they have a huge supply of dollars from both furries and non-furries who want an extra big-ass horse dong (the latter is who BD has increasingly been marketing to). Patreon on the other hand has shown to be increasingly unreliable with payment processor pressure and all.

The first step to "fixing" Derpibooru is to remove slimy two-faced parasites like you who dodge responsibility for their actions. How about you resign—be the change you want to see in the world!

Raptorshy is still the current operator for Derpibooru, but only until TSP "recovers" (stops being a pussy/the heat dies down), so don't hold your breath over the hope the site can recover.
I forgot to mention Raptorshy is a trannie. So that means the troon was the only level-headed person throughout this.

At this point,to use a very worn phase, all hell broke loose. Some Mod obviously got right narced and leaked a Discord chat log of the moderator's "off-topic discussion channel". It couldn't have been Raptorshy, since the logs mention him being demoded. Also most people use different names, making it kind of an austistic clusterfuck. Off the top of my head–Teaspoon=The smiling pony, Joey=Blossomforth(considers the Blossomforth account dead-seriously that autistic), Nebbie= Princess Luna, Luna von Rainy=Luna, ciaran=Derpy Whooves.
The logs reveal a few things
1. The mods brought The Atlantic article that started this upon themselves
2. TSP and a few of the other mods have a bizarre vendetta against 4chan and /mlp/ that I don't know the source of (commies hating /pol/?) extending years back.

3. None of them have the foggiest clue at how to effectively run or moderate a website, or how to cultivate a culture on that website.
4. Given his emotional instability, Raptorshy was obviously intended to be torn to shreds by /mlp/ so that someone could swoop in to gather accolades and vilify 4chan. It didn't work because, as bad as a trannie is, the duplicitous commie LARPers were much worse. Also the trannie had, you know, morals and empathy—he wanted to set up a "safe space" for people from 4chan on Derpibooru, and didn't seek to punish them for no reason.
5. The active Old Guard who have been with the site since the beginning have titanic levels of Unwarranted Self-Importance, thinking Depibooru is this pillar holding the community aloft.
6.Users on the Mod's shitlist were branded with the "mystery badge #1". And told to deliberately fuck with them. Literal mark of the Juden.

It's removed now because Jesus Christ.

The MLP fad is literally a decade old and has been long dead. I'm honestly surprised the wave of cancel culture is even having an effect on bronies at all to begin with.
