In military acquisition programs "consultants" like her are at the bottom of the totem pole, from personal experience. The hierarchy - the using organization(s) and their associates in and outside the Pentagon, then the acquisition and contracting people, then the primary contractor, then any subcontractors, and lastly "consultants".

Yeah, could see her telling her friends something like, "I was telling some military guy with a gold oak leaf on his shoulders about the importance of the struggle in Palestine. He only listened for a few seconds, then turned to another military man with a gold oak leaf on his shoulders and told him he wanted me off the project NOW. The other man listened and walked into the manager's office. The first guy turned and walked away. Within fifteen minutes the client's manager told me he'd already called Deloitte, and I had to leave immediately. What's with these guys, anyway?"

In regards to the colleges being Marxist factories do college students in the current year even learn on their own for the sake of learning, or is being an autodidact verbotten to the left these days? Both Walmarts in my city were hit at the beginning of June. Theyre still closed. After bypassing the local Safeway because of the line out front, I called Walmart corporate to see if there was an ETA on reopening. Both stores are closed "until further notice," chick on the phone couldnt confirm that they would ever reopen. Lady that works at the Ohanna bbq next to one of them said the other day she doesnt think theyre reopening. Bang up job, shitstains.
