Whatever you think about Shapiro, this lady and her book are completely insane.
If you listen to her talks and youtube content, she basically thinks she is morally superior by saying incredibly racist things to black people and then (1) recognizing that she is a racist quicker than other white people, who are all racist too but just slower than her at it, and (2) approaching the person she just was a blithering racist towards to "begin a dialogue" about it in what must invariably be an incredibly,
incredibly creepy and cringey "anti-racism" session.
Just look at her for crying out loud.
One of the most telling moments is in one example of this story that she repeats
every interview or talk. She tells a black woman that other white people didn't like one of their mandatory corporate anti-racism seminars (because really, who enjoys being promised that they are an awful racist and just don't know it?) because the black woman's hair was too African and scared the less woke white people away. She then has to be told how racist this is by someone else, is proud of herself that she recognized it long after with some prodding, and when the black woman, in their "dialogue", asked if DiAngelo would like to be reprimanded publicly or privately next time she's racist to her (apparently she is pretty consistently racist to where there
will be a next time, no questions... she marks this as some sort of stunning and brave insight on the black lady's part too)...
... she goes full flagellation and ruins her underwear while she responds, "oh publicly.... please... definitely publicly."
THAT's "Dr." Robin DiAngelo.
She
projects this onto her audiences saying things like "Liberal whites are the most damaging to minorities." Why? Not because she is trying to actually call out the idiots in her audience, but because it is cool to be so self-depreciating. In the most fucked up iteration since the Tide Pod challenge, she literally takes her dislike of white people as ignorant of their own racism and slingshots herself and her hordes of zombie brains into self-identifying as guiltfully racist to somehow be
cool. It is fucked. Up.
Trivia: She's one of the only people absolutely insane enough that I know of to be ripped to shreds by both CTH and Shapiro.
