Wait... What? Lol, why? Wasn't this just some random house with some white chubby people who pulled guns and said "Please don't protest in my yard."

Like, why do they give a shit about this one couple? I thought BLM was about anti-cop brutality, not anti-chubby dudes not on the force who didn't do anything.
That's because it's really about destroying everything white. When we all have nothing and live in constant fear, finally, we will all be equal.

No they are basically a large "publicly accepted" cult
a major sign of a cult is to disassocate with people who disagree with the group/outsiders/ex members and JWs do that a lot.
They also rather deal with "issues" inside the cult then take it to police (and unlike the Catholic church) may/will punish people who do.

True, but the main reason why JW's are a more publicly accepted cult is because they're largely non-violent, self-isolating, and self-policing and are mostly seen as beneath suspicion by the wider public.

Scientology is only accepted because they have a fuckton of money and sue anyone who dares to call them out on their BS, and because revoking their status as a religion could end up setting a bad legal precedent for the First Amendment and freedom of religion.

Even then, they've become persona non grata in all but name outside of Hollywood and similar entertainment circles thanks to South Park and goddamn /b/ tards outright publicly shaming and pranking them in the late 2000's.

JW's are just seen as weird and mildly annoying to anyone not actually involved in the cult while the Scientologists are barely tolerated but have a fuckton of money and an army of skilled lawyers on speed dial, and are now kept around as a "canary in the coal mine" for religious freedom at this point.

Trump just mentioned that they got the ring leader of the people who destroyed the Jackson memorial in DC.

Also mentioned some act he signed into law that gives people who destroy federal monuments a minimal of 10 years in prison.

He is talking about cancel culture, totalitarianism and the cultural revolution.

MSM and late night tv shows will have to discuss all this lol.
Or they'll just ignore those points and focus on one that they can twist into Trump being a racist or whatever name they throw at him.

Is it just me or is Trump a bit low energy tonight?

He's in his deliberate mode of speaking, he tends to bring it out for official events like this. He's done that for past July 4th events and the Christmas tree lightings. It's his version of being "Presidential".

To be honest I think stuff like this should be more measured, with fewer attacks and making a non-partisan case for American greatness. He's getting more political than he needs to be here, but I can't blame him. The rallies are where he gets more riled up, let him go buck wild there.

More Operation Snow White then any thing else about Scientology having 'official religion status'

I don't really have anything against JWs I think they are misguided on stuff , much like I do with Mormons, but I do view JW as a religious group as a bit suspicious (due to its cult like activities). I had a JW as a good friend in middle and high school.

I think the attacks are fair, because there is a public call to destroy Mt. Rushmore, it would be unwise to not talk about that when he is at Mt. Rushmore.

Now Trump is talking about the acomplishments of Washington, Lincoln, Jefferson, and Teddy.

That's exactly what he should be doing, especially given the venue. I just wish he had a better speech writer to get the key points across, he's listing accomplishments without their import.

Until he said "I'm going to tell you their stories", I hadn't thought about it, but I got shocked with a sudden realization: it's possible there's some kids out there who haven't heard an un-slanted version of these stories yet.

It's absolutely correct to talk about it. I just wish he had built up a case for America first, and then landed a strong condemnation of the history re-writing. Instead he started out calling out "left wing movement" and cancel culture.

It's a nitpick, and he's doing just fine. But he's so close to building an incredible moment here, and he's kind of dancing around it.

Trump talking about the new left fascism.

Just call it what it is: communism - stop tagging ideologies like fascism with all of this communist bullshit; if one needs to go on a diatribe about the differences between the two, that's fine, but just call it what it is.

It's Communism - the GOP has been doing this for far too long: just like the left, they hijack the term 'fascism' and use it loosely to refer to anyone that's on the left that demonstrates a bit of aggression..don't get me wrong, I get where the sentiment comes from, but Christ is it fucking irritating.

Thousands and thousands of zoomers are getting a goddamn history lesson!
