I'm with you about the destruction of language. I had some zoomer family of mine that are a little over 10 years younger than me take one of those timed vocab synonym tests I believe through Merriam Websters, and they only got 3/10 and 5/10. They both graduated with around 4.0 in high school. Doesn't matter, language and learning are fucking deaaaaaaad.

Do you have any good resources for reading up on fascism? To me, there’s some authoritarianism in each, but for different motives. Communism has killed more people worldwide though, I think. However, my knowledge of fascism is admittedly from public school, so I’d love to look at some other sources.

Well, incidentally, even left-wing pundits predicted this would happen - who the fuck was it, Orwell? Believe it was Orwell who identified that fascism had become some amorphous political term for both the moderate left and right to use as a bogeyman word to inflict upon their opposition anytime it deemed it necessary to do so: particularly when said opposition began to show any predilection towards violence.

Honestly, it's not something we can't recover from as adherents, but we're wading through very hostile waters even when we engage with the moderate right..but at least I can understand the hostility from the moderate right; the moderate left is just a manifestation of mental disorder and nothing more..at least today - classical liberalism made some sort of sense; going through things very 'orthodox' as I continuously stress in these discussions is the only way we're ever going to recover that platform of discourse..thankfully we're closer to that today than we were in the '90's, where literally the entire platform of our ideological discourse was dominated by criminal fuckheads.

read anything written by Mussolini, preferably in the original italian with some kind of dictionary next to you to help you translate it as you go. publishing houses have been fucked since the 1940s, so you don't really have much of a choice in the matter, unfortunately, outside of looking for independent resources, and those all tend to be extremely LARPy in comparison to the older stuff.
