A fat guy in California just died after going to a family bbq. I love how amber thinks because they say you are allowed to,that you should go out to gatherings and places that are open. Sweaty fat roll discolored by the beetus. Dark neck band is a pretty big sign your blood sugar is out of control. The hands, armpits, and inner thighs/groin can turn dark too. All the more reason to want to see the laygs. It's not limited to deathfats either. A lot of regularfats and even some people who aren't clinically obese get it as the first major unchecked warning sign they're pre-d but it's often wrongly assumed to be dirt or chafe discoloration. It does get better if not go away for people who get their sugar levels down, and in ALR's case, it's no different.

I'm no doctor, but that's just what I've seen in others who had the same condition.

It has already been brought up here and plenty of other ALR threads, but I wanted to add and emphasize that it isn't dirt and it doesn't wash off. Scrubbing it can actually seriously damage the skin and can even make it flaky or scaly (it's "velvety" otherwise as another poster pointed out). The worst thing she could do is scrub it. Obviously she should wash more, but like all other problems in her life, the real solution is for her to lose weight.

I was under the apparently false impression that the condition only really affected the back of the neck but I guess it can spread around like a collar. The more you know :optimistic:
 
If there is anything sad about this video is that her neck looks like a mummy unwrapped. I think she might need to see a dermatologist for that decaying skin before she literally becomes the Cryptkeeper.
