We had a little chanting "march" go by about two hours ago, at least they kept moving, but the cars weren't happy and no one was honking in solidarity. In other news, the Black Lives Matter artwork commissioned for the intersection (my "corner" I've spoken about before) was pelted with two days' worth of rain and of course, traffic so it's all peeled up from off the pavement lol. Some local contractor has offered to help redo it, but I don't think they're going to be closing a very busy intersection where the cop shop is located anytime soon, if ever.
Sidewalk chalk would probably have lasted longer. :lit:

eta: in re: going the wrong way on freeway ramps: I don't know why they don't have some sort of sensors that alert the police when there's a wrong way driver, or maybe they could install one-way spikes or ones that are sensor-activated at the entrance and exits of ramps so all tires get disabled. There's gotta be a way to prevent that.

Constant chaos and turmoil is only fun and desirable for the people at the top that have the money to shield themselves from the consequences. Or the very young who can run back to mommy and daddy.

I'm a bit behind in the thread, but in a weird case of synchronicity, I was actually looking about earlier for resources on deprogramming liberals. I still have friends from [redacted] who, despite being gun toting, American flag loving, independent and useful members of society types, are just jumping on-board the BLM train and "peaceful protests" full throttle.

Why? They aren't doing anything. What makes these people think that just their presence is required to kick something off. Maybe if they started rioting, trying to loot homes and so on they will get the reaction they want. But its painfully obvious they want to be seen as the victims defending themselves from white supremacy.

This is a testing time though for the South, will the south keep the 2nd amendment spirit alive or do what California did and adopt the Mulford Act.
