He may also gravely interfere with the Dems' captive black vote. A black Independent is literally the worst possible outcome for the Dems in a major election year.

If the left was smart, they'd snatch up Kanye to be Biden's VP. It wouldn't split the vote and allows them to get a populus on board. Not sure if Ye would agree to such a thing. If Ye does actually make it to the ballot, he's gonna split the vote and give Trump the win.

I still don't believe Ye is serious about running though. Once I see political ads and his ass campaigning, I'll change my tune.

I wasn't sure if Trump was serious until he made that speech at that libertarian convention that laid out his entire platform, including building the wall.

Anyway, he can only get on the ballot this late by hijacking a third-party party.

That is pretty much the goal of the culture war. So long as democrats stay in control of the institutes for socialization and do not completely go the way of the whigs we end up with far left fighting center left. They just create more of their kind to replace what was shed. Most of the disaffected liberals end up championing the same causes they always have. We then end up with republicans enshrining the only choice left to them after the goal posts get moved due to voter realignment.

Democrats are not going to care if they shed some voters so long as they are still competitive. It is part of a strategy they can utilize the popular vote for. Getting their own political enemies to fight for the democrats own interest, even if its a decade or two late, means they are winning the long war. Should they go too far it is as simple as readjusting themselves at just the right opportunity to get those "democrats left me" types to come crawling back. Eight years of Obama, with republicans putting whatever blame they could on him, has given us Trump. The time to watch for is after eight years of democrats running a witch hunt to swell the ranks of "never voting republican".

Politics is nothing more than getting the sheep to move how you want to get the results you want. Take that as a warning that a person's own interest is often nothing more than a carrot being dangled in front of them. These riots, for example, changes few minds. It is not their business or their home. They do get people to talk, to obsess, to rage about the results. The usual suspects from their usual side give the usual gamer aligned commentary when prompted by the event. Having some politically aligned tard personally harass you for not caring enough does more to change a person's mind than any far off war. Those who did not already care will vote against their tormentors, and that is the true GOTV effort. All that is needed to get the better part of the deal is to ensure the nastiest and most motivated witch was harasses to the other side, and you can get demand from the mob it harassed to see it burn.

Trump was not actually friendly with the Clintons. They had the kinda... pseudo friendliness of the super rich and powerful.

"We share a lot of the same friends, we are in the same circle of acquaintances, we'll pal around and effect friendliness because it suits both of us and our centers of power."

Aaaaaall the rich and powerful do this. Do not mistake it as genuine friendship.People in these circles can -loath- each other and will put on the mask of friendliness because it serves no good to make enemies. How you can tell if its genuine is fairly easy, do they actually pal around? Do you frequently see the two powerful people near each other of their own accord? Do they frequently invite each other to their soirees and the like?

If you look at Trump and either Clinton... the answer is no. They met up and were friendly at other peoples shindigs, they very occasionally invited the other. yet neither went out of their way to be around the other.

Addendum: To explain why I think Kanya and Trump legitimately like eachother. Trump has repeatedly invited Kanya to the white house, and has been seen palling around with him. This is made all the more significant because the president does NOT have a lot of free time. So multiple visits, at least twice which was basically to just shoot the shit, is a massive time investiture by a president.

On Kanye's part, he has accepted those invites, but most tellingly of all... the dude has spoken nothing but good about Trump, even though it -actively- hurts his position amongst his community.

Let's not forget that Kanye and Kim met with Trump repeatedly to discuss prison reform, and his success there certainly played a role in Kanye's glowing praise of him. Even if he's actually serious about a presidential run, I really couldn't see Kanye running against someone who set aside time to meet with him on an issue he really cared about, and did so multiple times, and actually got that accomplished.

Man, you know you're in Clown World when you're seriously discussing the possibility of Kanye running for president. I guess anything's possible at this point, and I'd certainly rather have Yeezus as commander-in-chief than the decrepit dementia patient that the Dems are nominating. What a world.

I wanted Obama for all 8 years. Then my stupid fucking industry decided that white men don't deserve jobs and that i'm a bigot for refusing to fuck trannies. Any public complaints about this would result in blacklisting.
